I'm not from India. This was the first Indian movie I ever watched in my life. I cried a lot. Until now when I see this movie I cry. This movie is one of the greatest movies I ever seen in my life
But never is freed whether our parents, relatives or society they won't let us live so the only way is to be stubborn on our opinion like them and live our life independently
So this is what our parents felt when they listened to the classics from their childhood. It's surreal that it's been 14 years since this masterpiece was released and you can’t help but shed tears. It's fascinating how the creators of this movie could strike the right chords.
"Bachpan ke din chaar, na aaenge baar baar" I was probably 6 or 7 when this movie came, and now I'm 20...this line hits different now... Thanks to movies and songs like these for making my childhood a good one and introducing me to emotions that I was not aware of
Being dyslexic myself I looooved this movie .....my teachers used to beat me up until I bled cause I couldn’t read or spell words correctly ..and that affected my self esteem drastically .such is life
I don't have dyslexia but I just love this movie, every kid like him and me and wants to be free😭😭😭 studying can be made easy whenever teacher explains clearly and playfully

Beautiful days and beautiful experience, even the memories during the lockdown brings an equivocal emotion of smile and tears.
" I just want to be free". That is all everyone ultimately desires. Our whole life we just chase for our freedom, freedom for creativity, freedom for expression, financial freedom etc etc. Only in death are we liberated. Freedom demands great price not everyone is able to pay that. This is very very sad & existential.
