Time for a air filter change out. Really, that wasn't as dusty as I thought it would be.A very nice job at a off-airport landing, good job! Keep sharing those videos please. Kurt
Confined Area Off Airport - This is a reference video of unedited footage from inside the cockpit during a confined area off airport in an R22 helicopter.
Anything smaller than an airport is one way I have heard it. But I'd say it is anything where a normal takeoff and landing angle may not be possible due to obstructions/terrain.
Initially I was taught PAWOTFEEL (I personally don't use it anymore), but I've also heard of 4 x S & H... Many acronyms in aviation and usually many ways to do the same thing. Using an off-airport acronym or not, you should be good as long as you are methodical, sensible & safe in your assessment of the approach, landing and take off (and be ready to abort).
