If a man is too eager or pleasing it can drive women away. They don't want someone controlling them but they also don't want someone they can control. It should be a 50/50 relationship, and if one begins to dominate the other yes the time that can turn out to be a toxic relationship. It should be a neutral and mutual decision between the two. Not a pulling away from each other.
I think its awesome how there are people like Melannie out there who help people find true love. It can be very difficult and intimidating to know how to approach someone these days no matter what kind of invironment your in, you find someone your attracted to and you just freeze up and don’t know what to say to them, it should be as easy to walk up to them and just say hi to them, but its not, so, thank you Melannie!

There is this girl in my college class that I have a crush on. The 1st day of classes, I checked her out from where I was sitting and paid attention to where she sat. On the 2nd day of class, I introduced myself to her in the hallway next to the class and we talked really well and asked each other good questions. She was reasonably comfortable during the conversation. After, I followed her and sat where she sits. It was absolutely a great 1st time conversation both during class and in the hallway. The cat walk. The thing that happened to me was, we were in church, and she was sitting with her friends in the pew right in front of me. I was sitting with friends right behind her. Whenever we stood, she would pull her jeans up as most people would. However, a few times, she did the hip shake. Not real obvious, but enough to catch my attention. We are not doing much yet because she is going through her divorce. Settlement coming soon. She is 60, and I'm 68. Neither of us look our age! Am I reading that right?

Another great video Mellanie. Interesting points, some of which I see in my gal pal (best friend for a few years). I was her emotional support during a health scare about 4-5 years ago, plus st the same time her mother passed. Then she was my support during my divorce (maybe I could have handled it without her, but I don't know how). And now I am her support as her divorce is now starting. In between times we have maintained frequent contact with neither of us showing romantic affection, but plenty of love and friendship. Now we are in very frequent contact, and while I know she is hurting so much as her divorce proceeds, there seems to be indications of budding romance. For now my assumption is to play it slow as I know her divorce is going to be as acrimonious as mine was, and she does not need the complications. However it is very tempting to go for it. She has without a doubt the most beautiful inner beauty I have ever encountered, and is also the most physically attractive woman I've ever seen (we both work in the film industry, so that is saying a lot about her beauty). @@Trezzpops update: we dated but not "officially", and discussed possibly being together on future, and future travel plans. However, it was a holding pattern that kept me both close and at a distance. I started to feel like anything we did together was on her schedule, or last minute. Never planned based on my schedule. It became apparent I was being used for emotional validation and not being considered for an honest relationship. When I stopped being silent to others as to my intentions (we were constantly viewed as a couple), my friend abruptly ended our friendship. So I guess a clean break is better than limping along forever 🤷♂️

They have an abundance of options and you were likely not at the top (goes both ways) think of it as a play the opening act is strong physical attraction between the couple, then being on the same wavelength/personality/etc it all matters. One woman at work i believe is intrested in me. All this started quite recently with long eye contact. I have crush on that woman very much. After that i liked some of her facebook pictures where her friends commented that she is pretty. After that at work she constantly looked at me when she was far away, that is, all the time, said "hi" to me first time ever. After work she stayed for a coffee with me for an easily over one hour, we talked of our job, first time ever we even talked. She just suddenly came to the cafe. There was only us. She also told that she is living alone in her own house and how she was sick before and stuff like that. Even told how she is very busy! After that one hour coffee i smoked cigar at outside (long time) maybe 15 minutes and she waited in her own car and immediately when i started to go she did too. But she avoided eye contact when she was near. I know she is bullied badly in the past and that might be having an effect . But i want to heal her with love. Now we are in very frequent contact, and while I know she is hurting so much as her divorce proceeds, there seems to be indications of budding romance. For now my assumption is to play it slow as I know her divorce is going to be as acrimonious as mine was, and she does not need the complications. However it is very tempting to go for it. She has without a doubt the most beautiful inner beauty I have ever encountered, and is also the most physically attractive woman I've ever seen (we both work in the film industry, so that is saying a lot about her beauty).

@@Trezzpops update: we dated but not "officially", and discussed possibly being together on future, and future travel plans. However, it was a holding pattern that kept me both close and at a distance. I started to feel like anything we did together was on her schedule, or last minute. Never planned based on my schedule. It became apparent I was being used for emotional validation and not being considered for an honest relationship. When I stopped being silent to others as to my intentions (we were constantly viewed as a couple), my friend abruptly ended our friendship. So I guess a clean break is better than limping along forever 🤷♂️

the women you are encountering do not have a high level of physical attraction to you. They have an abundance of options and you were likely not at the top (goes both ways) think of it as a play the opening act is strong physical attraction between the couple, then being on the same wavelength/personality/etc it all matters. One woman at work i believe is intrested in me. All this started quite recently with long eye contact. I have crush on that woman very much. After that i liked some of her facebook pictures where her friends commented that she is pretty. After that at work she constantly looked at me when she was far away, that is, all the time, said "hi" to me first time ever. After work she stayed for a coffee with me for an easily over one hour, we talked of our job, first time ever we even talked. She just suddenly came to the cafe. There was only us. She also told that she is living alone in her own house and how she was sick before and stuff like that. Even told how she is very busy! After that one hour coffee i smoked cigar at outside (long time) maybe 15 minutes and she waited in her own car and immediately when i started to go she did too. But she avoided eye contact when she was near. I know she is bullied badly in the past and that might be having an effect . But i want to heal her with love. This is happened several times now in a shorter version though, because we don't usually have much time. What all this means and what to do?
