I also use a 50-pound lightweight power chair. It's a lot easier to load and unload. What type of chair do you use? Thanks for watching

This was amazing, thanks so much for sharing I just bought one for my dad and I had to do exactly this to get it into the van haha I got it for the very same reasons. Sucks when they feel limited to just being in the house due to being wheelchair bound

I just ordered the Quickie Q300 M Mini power chair for my 3 year old. ❤
Hi, I'm not familiar with the Quickie Q300 M but it looks to have a lot of additional features. I am looking into it now that you've mentioned it because of the ability for the seat to raise and lower. As long as it has the option to be placed in manual mode this is still an option. I have recently purchased a van with a lift that's more convenient. I will be posting that video soon. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thank you so much for sharing this!❤️I take care of my mom, who is 94…and although she walks…she definitely can’t walk far…I have been contemplating getting a minivan..but I really want to get a Tahoe lol….I’ve seen some videos on the Bruno sidelift…but it has to be installed on the side of the trunk of your vehicle…..thanks for this idea🙌🏼

@@MzKedaKares I actually totally switched gears, and I am now getting a foldable Jazzy passport electric wheelchair!… I feel that will work out better for us, since it can just be folded and put into a trunk of my SUV…with no modifications to my vehicle!🙌🏼
@Kimberly glad you found something that works for you. That one is similar to the one I have. We as caregivers have to do what works best for ourselves as well. I'm sure you're doing an amazing job with your mom (just in case no one tells you)

How heavy is the ramp? I might have to use a power chair but I have to load myself. I can stand for a little while with a cane
