Project Energise Video 2023

We all know, that as an industry we are facing a significant challenge in attracting the next generation of talent which will be needed to manage our future power systems. The Australian Power Institute have decided to actively ENERGISE our community to work on this issue.
We are wanting to create awareness among school students about the challenges and opportunities that exist. We need to show them how innovative technologies and approaches are transforming the industry, from renewable energy to smart grids, from energy storage to electric vehicles.
As part of ‘developing the power sector workforce for our future’ we are strengthening our efforts in how we are engaging the younger generation on what the power sector is and what a future career in the industry may look like.
PROJECT ENERGISE encompasses all the API’s activities for informing the next generation (ages 13 up) into being AWARE and EXCITED about the opportunities that are in front of them in the power industry.
