Very interesting choices, especially the Devo and Elvis. Got yourself a new subscriber, I just started my own channel as well and appreciate the work people do all the more now. Thanks for posting.

Agree with the Costello pick. It’s such a fascinating glimpse into where U.K. youth culture & the top 40 was at the time, Two Tone was in full swing & the film Quodrophenia had come out the year before so loads of kids were into soul & ska in England which is reflected so well in that album.
You probably already know about this but there’s a great 2 cd edition on rhino of get happy where the 2nd cd has 30 bonus tracks. He dose quite a few songs that would make it on trust in that same kind of new wave northern soul style. Thanks for watching!
Congrats on the year! No sickness with the multi copies of an album. When I get album upgrades, it's hard to Goodwill the others that aren't resale worthy. We get it. 👌
I am new to your channel but really enjoyed your picks on what you’re listening to. 70s Costello was amazing. Great Damn album also, I enjoy that album. Girl Trouble is totally new to me but Cramps are one of my all time favorite groups. I will check that album out. Great taste, I gave you a sub
Hey Steve thanks for checking my channel out! I’m 99 percent sure if you like the cramps you’ll like that Girl Trouble album! Thanks for the comment and sub!
I dont have either of those early devo albums hardcore whatever there called.should i get them? More punk right..harder? Or more chaoitic?.never heard that elton john but had affair with yellow brick road😂.i'm a joelman.but also had a bowie stage but after ziggie- i'm out.costello up to a point also that crazy cover armmed forces that you showed was cool never seen it! That is my favorite e.c. album pretty sure.speaking of songs that you could not do now...pretty sure you'll never be a man does not get alot of love thrse days😂😂
You need to get the Devo hardcore albums, very very punky with synths, yes very chaotic and sloppy in a great way. I think those two albums are the best thing they ever did! Thanks for watching!
Thanks again to everyone who’s taken the time to comment and interact over the past year! I really appreciate it!
I'm 61. Your love for all this music from my youth (which I still listen to) is heartwarming.
Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on your first year. I live vicariously through your record shopping. You got (mostly) good taste.
Mostly hahaha, was probably that Elton John album that threw it off lol, thanks for watching!
