- It's Shop Launch week in this weeks Studio vlog, And today we need to prep for our quarter one stationary & Sticker restock and shop update!
🌸 We get to work on photographing all the new products, listing them on the website, as well as packing up hundreds of glass tumblers and designing new stickers!

I love this! My daughter told her whole class and teachers to watch KATNIPP because its her favourite and she wants to be you when shes older now you have a grade 2 class of 6 year olds and her 2 teachers tuning in to watch you from Australia lol we adore you❤ xx

Amazon US has $100 3d printers, which aren't bad for just prototyping ideas, and working out the 3d model designs for the printer. They aren't fast enough to produce them for a store, but you could prototype your ideas out. We picked up one, they're not that complicated. :-)

For the characters you can experiment with resin casting them yourself and selling them in small batches. You could also do it on a pre-order basis so that you can use the funds to pay the manufacturer.

Definitely need a backup cloud drive and connect both your computers so when you are at home you can save to work computer and vice versa. Also, you can do a ssd drive that you can keep in your bag
That’s what we were using a SSD luckily we found out it wasn’t the SSD that broke but the lead! So we managed to recover it YAYY 🥹🥹🥹🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

Awesome vlog, and I LOVE a tidy workspace all to your aesthetic and cosy, yours is FAB! The new stickers look great; I loved how you were first thinking of putting the blossom sticker at the left corner of the big sticker, but you'd have to leave a blank area there on your big sticker so you don't cover up some of the lovely design; I get why you changed your mind. x.

I definitely love being able to see these vlogs and being a part of the marshies to see so many different places of progression with designs and products and just what's going on all around the Katnipp universe. I am eagerly awaiting the release of the Daffodils so that I can make my gigantic order, so major excitement on that too!
Completely agree that previous job experiences are great to adding to skillsets, especially when they are able to help with time reduction, minimizing waste and ensuring less chaos in your work space. As for the office desk in general and keeping it a happy place since you're there anywhere from 25-50% of your day/life, I completely agree! I have some prints and art of yours on my wall at work because they are so joyous to look at when I am feeling exhausted or eye fatigued, so I'll look at them and think of the dozens and dozens of stickers and other cute things I got from the shop over the year(s). Super excited for what's to come! /hug

I’m on the third HTV Ront tumbler auto press (Loklit branded) and don’t seem to have any luck. First one ordered looked like the box had been opened and the inner lining where the mugs go had lumps and bumps. Then the replacement and the third one were the same! I’m not sure if I’m being overzealous of if it’s normal and won’t affect the sublimation process. Seing as you managed to sublimate successfully with yours, can I please ask you: do your machines have small lumps and bumps (even slightly) in the lining? 😊
You can try to extract files from that corrupted hard drive! There are even free apps you can download to try to save them!
We managed to recover it oh my goodness! Luckily it was actually the lead that had broke and not the drive THANK GOSH! 🥹🌷🌷🌷

I would love to have the individual prints of the calendar pages because the artworks are so so cool❤Maybe you could cut them using your cutting machine and sell (or give for free) the prints because I wouldn’t mind the punched hole + calendar behind ❤

Just a quick heads up if you're still using the invisalign. Don't drink anything but water while wearing them as you can get really bad staining and cavities. 😁
I’m in Cornwall and say breakfast, lunch and tea but my family come from the North and Midlands so that might be why! 😂 though I also have a herbal tea business and often confuse my family and friends when I talk about tea! 😁 Kate xx

For the missing files....you said you sent them off to the manufacturer already. Not sure about your email set up but if you sent them to the manufacturer via email the files may still be in your "sent" folder.
Luckily they saved them and we managed to recover the files!! 🥹🌷🌷🌷 thank goodness 😅🎀

For me photoshop is far the best edition software, i love it. Plus its a steal at just 9 quid a month with other programs as well if people don't want to buy it out right

If you use icloud to store all the files you send to the printer, you’ll always have them no matter what computer you made it on. I learned the hard way 😅

Hi Catherine did you decide against moving to a UV DTF instead for the tumblers? I know you considered it after experimenting in a previous video.

I dont know if you just set them up or what (Ive never noticed them before), but the little advertisements popping up in the corner through the video are incredibly distracting. They are constantly cutting off captions and subtitles. :(

I do freelance logo and branding work (packaging, menu designs, social media templates, you name it) for small businesses and Pinterest is truly one of my biggest spaces for inspiration! Love these videos! Just a suggestion, I have to have captions on due to having auditory processing disorder. So when you pop up your own captions on the screen to describe what you're doing, it's covered by the youtube caption box ☹ Not sure if it can be remedied but thought I'd at least let you know. Thanks for these videos, I really enjoy them!

Well worst thing for a cleaner at a office is a desk full of stuff or sometimes tat that people bring in.....desks at my work do not get cleaned when full of personal stuff so people bare that in mind when you want to cover it with stuff abiut the person who has to clean it....or not lol

Wouldn't you have emailed the files to the printers? They would be in the sent box, won't matter what pc/device you on.

Not good service from your printers, who if I remember rightly were local to you. They should work out apportioned credit for faulty items, particularly if it was their error. Not a good recommendation to use them again, I wouldn’t if I were you.
