Would you be able to do a video explaining the drive train of your hotrod? it looks brilliant and i would love to build something similar for one of my baby bee motors.

I noticed that you spin the large wheel to the right to start the engine. How have you attached the starter wheel and the rest of the drive train to the Cox engine?
(I'm curious because the cox engine usually spins to the left, and i was thinking that the propellor screw would come loose if it were spinning to the right like yours is)

Cox engines on which the carburettor is placed in front of the cylinder, rotate only left. The inbuilt engine has no determined spin. Due to avoid to loose the flywheel I've fixed it with loctite.

+EnginePoweredArt You mentioned that the engines with the carburetor placed ahead of the cylinder will only rotate left. Does that mean that the Cox .020 tee see would not be able to spin right?

That's right: The Cox TEE DEE Engine spins only left. Because of the valve timing of the rotating suction inlet, the fuel mixture can't be sucked in at right spin mode.

+EnginePoweredArt What was the methodology behind this gearing? Since the Cox .020 had too little throttle, was the end goal to gear up the engine and end up with a high gear ratio and produce more speed?
(Roughly what was your end gear ratio?)

i still wonder how you build that gearbox
    (still love that car)

Do you have any drawings for the gearbox? I am building something similar with an 049

If you want, I can send you a CAD file. The format is TurboCAD 19 (TCW). By email?

@@EnginePoweredArt I don't have turbo cad :( If you can export it as a dxf that would be great!

Actually I just realized that I can download a free trial of turbo cad. My email is whitehouse260 @ gmail.com

    Where is the fuel tank?

The fuel tank is between the cylinder and the throttle
