« Art, for me, is a context to slow the viewer’s experience from their everyday life in order to think about things they have never thought about. »
Andrea Pallang is a painter, photographer, and sculptor based in Slovakia whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Serbia. Her minimalistic, geometric, and textural works explore the concepts of time and traces. Pallang employs a non-objective reduction artistic method. The horizontal nature of her compositions symbolizes how we want to view the world and the creation of a sense of order.

Andrea Pallang has created some tantalizing paintings with her ability to bring to life lines of paint that sing with exquisite harmony and extraordinary power, along with geometric marvels of precision and compositional beauty that leave the beholder transfixed in front of shapes drawn to perfection that leave one looking into each painting trying to uncover and discover its hidden meaning. Andrea Pallang has created some very interesting and expertly crafted beautiful paintings. . .

I was quite disappointed when I checked her portfolio on saatchiart and saw that most of them were digital works; I guess that would qualify them as "zombie formalism". 😶
