87 topps has some great rookies in it but damn, the wax quality was crap and that wood border sucked. just substitute topps for donruss and wood for black and ditto for my previous statement.

I don’t think $3 a pack is too expensive. I would have paid that too. No place around here sells older packs.
I always had a soft spot for those 87 Topps
the way they were wrapped and the poor quality of the maddux rookie leads me to believe the 87 donruss are repacks.
I hate buying packs from open boxes. Collectors would go thru the old wax and reseal them.
