New here and doing my 1st drawing. I'm coloring next and yellow is my favorite color. I must say I've never seen anyone color as fast as u. I am n awe. Thx 4 sharing with us.
Your teaching stye is Excellent! Thank you for sharing your knowledge about Neurographic Art. I am new to learning about Neurographic Art and have looked at videos on some other youtube channels but yours are defiinitely the best for my learning style.
When I first learned NeuroGraphic Art I was taught that there should be NO HARD SHAPES, like the triangles, boxes, etc. I personally like the shapes added on top. Very nice.
I just stumbled upon your channel, I could watch this video all day long! Your explanation and advice on the basics of neurographic art is the best I’ve seen. Thank you! I’m looking forward to viewing the rest of your videos!
I LOVE Neurographica. I need to do one a day at least. It's my therapy. I do both the therapeutic ones as well as just some for pure enjoyment. My favourite part is rounding. I agree I often find the colouring part the hardest. I am really challenging myself to be freer with it, not think too much. Just take colours and colour. Thanks for the classes. :)
Thanks for the video. I took a basic class and I’m incorporating it into my artwork and my art workshops. Copy paper is a good inexpensive way to start too. Just be aware that sharpie markers fade over time. This is such a powerful method for art therapy. I love it.
This us what I've been looking for. Thank you for this. I'm just starting and watching RUclips videos is very confusing. I don't want the intention part of it right now. I want to be intuitive and zen like with this. Its the coloring of it that freezes me up. Watching you explain it in this video has given me the inspiration and freedom to just go with the flow. I love this! Looking forward to more of your videos and encouragement in the future.
Hello from Ontario ,Canada . I love your video just found you this morning on my tv so I had to go on You tube to find you and leave a message because when I am watching on tv you can't write anything haha. I will be following your lessons because I love your strong ,clear, voice and appreciate you how you teach .Thanks for sharing !!!! there are so many others and I get confused so I am glad to meet you sweet Amarna ,my name is Toulla .......stay well
Hi Sharon, this is just a very basic class - the circle can mean anything you want: your dreams, your desires, the material things you want, the relationship you dream about! All explained in Level 1 course!
Hello from Australia. Just discovered Neurographic art one week ago. I'm totally in love with it. Did one of your videos where you incorporate writing your emotion on the page, then drawing the neuragraphic lines over the writing etc. I can see this can be powerful stuff. I want to learn more. I've even found myself mentally rounding out right angles that I see around me in buildings etc. 😀
I am so happy you have founded Neurographica - I am offering a Level 1 User certified Neurographica course that will allow you to learn the basic algorithms - if you are interested please email me at amarnaneuroart@gmail.com

Hi. I followed your project from start to finish. I hadn't realised that when adding shapes, that it was important to round the connecting lines. I loved your ongoing instructions and ideas, and will definitely incorporate them into my next artwork. I'm very new to this and was skeptical of the mental connection, but I'm warming to the idea, and will try not to be so focussed on what looks good as against what's good for me! Thank you so much for putting it into simple terms so that I could really grasp what it was all about. Kind regards, Patricia Webb.
Thank you, Patricia! The mental aspect of Neurographica is huge because it has been directly connected to Neuroscience. I've seen people making dramatic changes to their lives after drawing Neurographica using psycological aspects and artistic methodology married together!
the leads keep breaking because the pencils may have been dropped and the lead inside breaks. I love how you have shown us how to make our drawings more artful. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video. I am new to Neurographica and so much of what you mentioned has happened to me. Anytime I miss an area where I didn't round it out I dislike the image when I'm done, it irritates me and my husband, my number one critic will inevitably say of that piece that it isn't that good, not that I create art for him! I was finding that a lot of lines were intimidating me but your words here are encouraging. Overall I find this art form very therapeutic and relaxing, with the advice you give here, and your beautiful example, I look forward to making a lot more.
You should not get irritated just because everyone starts like this! I, myself didn't like my drawings in the beginning! But the more your practice the better you will get - don't give up! This is why I am teaching from the very beginning so people understand the lines and shapes and the most important - PRACTICE!
i appreciate no music! i like your direct, to the point style of teaching...i'm not so much into the psychology aspect, except that coloring is relaxing.... "roundness" appeals to me. Very helpfull interesting video. thanks so much!!!
Amarna, do you ever color with watercolors? I really enjoyed your teaching style here. You encourage just diving in, no pressure, relax, and enjoy. Thank you.

Very very good introduction to his new artform...... I am interested in the psychology behind it. What do you recommend ? Thanks very much Greetings from Antwerp Belgium
Is there meaning of shapes and need to be added purposefully? I think circle can be added any time but you said to be careful with the triangle, why, when and where exactly should be added? The same goes with square, can you elaborate what exactly those shapes are and how they work? Thanks a lot.
I do, especially if it is just neuroart. But with Neurographica I may take a break between the drawing and coloring, I don't leave until I finish the entire drawing and it is recommended not to.
@@AmarnaNeuroart That makes sense..Thank you. Seems like once you get the drawing down..,If you do walk away, you're still thinking about it on some level and it's already part of you..That's running through my head anyway.😊
Should probably know what you want to do with finished peices before you choose drawing instruments. Tha advantage of the more expensive materials are their greater permanance and greater pigment content. Cheaper materials tend to fade and you can't get the more intense colors.
i think ,the moment there is any rule for creating art , then the whole idea of art is lost . Art ought to be free and without any rules will prevent an easy outflow .. It has been said --there is nothing called art but artists -- Rules are always meant to be broken
Hi Amarna. You and your personality and the excellent video certainly resonates with me. I had only recently heard of Neuro Graphic art but thought it would be enjoyable and suit my ‘anxious type’ and ‘non- artistic self’ . The concept really is a mindful experience and visually pleasing… not to mention, so relaxing. Your teaching is superb and I love that you have chosen not to distract us from your words and teaching with irritating music. Brilliant video and I would urge people to subscribe to your channel. Many Thanks. PD - from the UK. 🙂
I like your lessons very much. However, the camera focusing "in and out" is so annoying and stressful on the eyes. I had to stop watching you after 28 minutes. Regrettably, wont be back.
"Create your own river", I like that!
I enjoyed your mindset, your generous teaching, and a great beginning!

Thank you! Neurographica is mostly about therapeutical and coaching practice, you can watch my other videos for that and I will be teaching more!
What size of pen do you draw your black lines? I use a sharpie and they are pretty thick. I like your thinner lines.
Is there meaning of shapes and need to be added purposefully? I think circle can be added any time but you said to be careful with the triangle, why, when and where exactly should be added? The same goes with square, can you elaborate what exactly those shapes are and how they work? Thanks a lot.
What kind of gold pen do you use? Or is it gold leaf?
Do you ever just leave your drawing and come back later? Or do you finish each piece to "keep with the flow"?
I do, especially if it is just neuroart. But with Neurographica I may take a break between the drawing and coloring, I don't leave until I finish the entire drawing and it is recommended not to.

I agree that expensive materials are better, but not everyone can afford them!
Are there other shapes that can be used instead of just circle, square or triangle?
Not really just 3 figures + line - we also study a spiral
