Don’t worry about us, we’ll keep ourselves busy while you rest up. I’m not unsubscribing anytime soon so take all the time and breaks you need. We’ll be here 🥰
Make sure to pick surgical operation as a LAST resort. My wife got away with it without risking to be paralyzed half way down her body. Whish you all the best. 🙏
Looking that the MRI, tells me you are underplaying the pain by a fair margin. I also have two herniated disks, at C6 (just like you) that really messes with your arms, and at S1 which impacts lower back and "fun zone". I hope you can get some surgical intervention to alleviate the pain.
I herniated C4 through C7 the day after my birthday in 2022. Been just over two years now... not fun. Whole left arm was in agony for so long, and behind my shoulderblade! Never wanna do that again. I'd rather have a kidney stone. At least those pass in a day or two. T_T
Hey Deco. I herniated three discs in my neck just over two years ago (October, 2022) and it's been a long healing journey including a disc replacement surgery that went REALLY well and was definitely the right choice for me. I herniated C4 through C7 (had the C6/7 one replaced), and had absolute AGONY down my left arm(behind shoulder blade, in my shoulder, down the bicep and through my elbow into my fingers), and still have some numbness in my thumb, index and middle finger, as well as a lack of temperature sensitivity. I couldn't even sit up without gritting my teeth in agony for the first three weeks, and it was a couple months after that before I felt like I could even be upright at all for more than a minute or two without wanting to rip my head off. I still have difficulty being upright for more than a few hours, but it's getting better! I got the mobility in my shoulder back last month. Nerve pain is a MONSTER of a beast, so please, PLEASE take all the time you need to heal and recover from this. I was warned to take it easy with mine because I was at risk of the slightest wrong bump or jostle paralyzing my entire left arm. The pain WILL get better in time- but it will take time. The first three weeks for me were the worst. And if you get recommended a disc replacement, I definitely support the idea! It helped me SO much, and I retained nearly all my mobility. (Mobility now is utterly normal in my neck... it just feels restricted for me cause I used to be hypermobile, lol). I hope you're able to get treatment quickly and get things sorted out. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone!! Feel better soon! AND TAKE IT EASY.
I don't mean to bro-science it up, but a decompression/inversion table might help a bit. Careful though, those can make your disks worse if you don't use them right.
Those tend to work better for bulging discs. Once they're herniated they can help a little, but since there's no longer any structure to the disc itself, it just squishes back out again.
Damn dude. Even if you go dark for a while we'll all be here when you get back. Need to take care of yourself. I've been dealing with CFS for over 4 years now, and that's one thing I've learned is to not push myself. It's not worth it man. Take care!
I just got diagnosed with CFS like two weeks ago... trying to adjust to the diet and it's not going easily so far. Be easier once all the gluten has been replaced with alternatives, but right now the temptations are still too strong for me. T_T
i had 5 herniated discs in my lower back with 2 being calcified xD it can be pretty rough. i ended up get a bilateral laminectomy and i gotta get spinal fusion in a year or two. i feel your pain, get well soon!
I have 5 herniated total (3 in neck, one now titanium, and two in lower lumber to sacrum) and 3 more bulging discs in my mid/upper back, as well as a hemangioma I am DEFINITELY aware of, lucky me... wouldn't wish this kinda pain on anyone!
Alright boys, looks like it's time to whip out that Glitterworld medicine we've been holding onto for so long.
Good luck Deco.
Take care of yourself, man. That's far more important than any of us. We'll be here when you're better.
Dang that sucks, hope you get to feeling better soon! Can't wait for the inevitable pawn named Deco with the bionic spine in the next RW playthrough

Same here, good comment👍
Oh no, sending good energy and hope for your recovery!
Damn. I'm not sure if evolving to walk upright was worth the back and spine being so temperamental.

I have serious back and neck issues from an Injury in my teens, good luck make certain the doctor has at least a 16 in medical.

Best wishes mate. I know first hand how awful spine problems are. Hang in there mate.
Everybody asking where is Deco’s spine when we should be asking how’s… Oh nevermind!

Deco has a spine? TIL.
Can't be that bad, most politicians doesn't have a spine and can live just fine, right?

Hopefully the doctors get it all fixed up for you man, to bad we don’t have Healer Mech Serum or bioregeneration pods in meatspace yet
jeez bud hope they can give you a bionic one and don't botch the surgery
Archotech?

Spines are so much easier on the Rim. :(
