Watch Aurora's HAIK concert from 2019, which was recorded in the forest where Aurora played in her childhood, which confirms her a forest sprite. This is a beautiful song about violence in a relationship. Aurora writes amazing songs on difficult and important issues (a response to male suicide statistics "The River", environmental damage "The Seed", dealing with emotions "Runaway" (which she wrote when she was just 11), "Winter Bird" and "Lucky", resisting society's pressures "Cure For Me", being true to yourself "Warrior" and many more).
All of her live performances are like this. You can’t keep your eyes off of her, she’s captivating.

Ah, my little "Wood Elf"! Regarding your forest comment, her HAIK concert is intimate and held in a forest and it is wonderful!
You really don’t know how close you were with your description of woods elf. Aurora spent her childhood in the forest around her home. Often got lost which caused her parents to install a bell to call her home. They taught her to navigate with the night stars to find her way. Completely unique and transparent human. Singer, songwriter, musician, philosopher. Does not suffer fools, and will often ignore them and often escapes into self during interviews where stupid questions are asked.
As a man it is so interesting to watch a bunch of women reacting to the same thing I have. I cannot put into words but, your reaction to this woodland creature is quite similar to mine. Love from Norway.
This is Aurora at her most ethereal. Now people are going to reccommend the Murder 54321 song and her Nidarosdomen Cathedral performance but I think her KEXP gig was peak Aurora. Notably her 'Churchyard' and 'All is soft inside' songs that she sang there.

She’s a Norwegian singer/songwriter/dancer and music producer born on the 15 of June 1996
She started writing music at the age of 6 when she found an old electric piano in the attic, she added lyrics (English) at the age of 9.
So she’s self taught when it comes to singing and playing piano, and her family didn’t know about her talent until she was about 14.
She didn’t even want to be an artist, but fortunately her mother convinced her that her music could help others, it has for sure helped me
She spent most of her time alone in the forest growing up
Billie Eilish was inspired by her while watching her mv of “Runaway” (her breakthrough song which she wrote when she was 11)

Captivating, isn't she? As well as her beautiful, ethereal voice, she's known for being so expressive while performing, and it's really hard to take your eyes off her, as you found out. She draws you in and makes you want to be in her world. In her more emotional songs, she can really pull at your heartstrings too. Such as her "Potion for Love" Vevo live studio performance. Aurora takes influence from musicians like Enya, Ane Brun, and Bjork. She doesn't have a song with Sia. She actually really dislikes pop music and doesn't want to be a mainstream artist. That said, she has covered some pop songs on a series called "Like a Version" where they are challenged to compose a cover of a song in a limited amount of time. She usually chooses pop songs because they are easy to deconstruct. She really is a forest nymph, though. She does an amazing concert in a forest on a series called "HAIK".

This reminds me of a funny SNL sketch. I don’t know though how anyone can react to an Aurora song without placing the lyrics within the context of the music. It sounds to me like a song about a rape and the woman escapes though the window leaving blood on the ground like a flower on the meadow. But she’ll return and bleed on the bed, turn it red… Very heavy, dark song which Aurora is drawn to it seems. Love is wild.

Silja Sol is amazing in her own right. Aurora is the Goddess of the Earth and Nature. Just saying. They are from Norway and English is the second language... just think about that for a moment.
Pay close attention to the lyrics. This is a song about spousal abuse.
As a little girl she spent a lot of time in the forest with the animals day and night and has always been special. She’s a quirky fun/serious fairy angel. Maria with Heilung is a magician. Floor with Nightwish is a Valkyrie. Tatiana with Jinjer is a berserker. Luv ya girlies! But just so ya know, I’m gettin old and tired of young hotties lusting after my body alla time. That's when you realize again how generic most reactions are. There are 3 people sitting there and none of them deals with the content of the song. Which, by the way, is the essence of Aurora's music. The story she tells.
The lyrics show that the song is absolutely no fun. I mean, it's about domestic violence that goes so far that the man throws his wife out of the window. She hits the ground and bleeds to death. After that, she either comes back as a ghost and hunts him or it's his guilty conscience that won't let him sleep in his bed anymore. Because in this bed he sees her bleeding corpse in his nightmares.
Don't know if it's party worthy. In any case, it's worth actually dealing with the lyrics. Especially with Aurora, who always has important things to tell. I think that might be more important than her look.
