I’m not gonna lie Adam talking passionately about the art was a joy to see. Seems like he’s a genuine actor and artist and not just a show piece. Also seems like he’s set not to just be a token. I genuinely respect that. Hope his career continues and he does well
Indeed. There is a humble aire to his demeanor. I like that about people, especially people in the public eye. I first saw him in the TV series Once Upon a Time where he played the Mad Hatter.
It's amazing how Adam has gone on record that he wants to play a Bond villain. I totally could see Adam playing one of the best Bond villains ever. Not just being disfigured. Imagine him playing a billionaire genius, it's not just him being about his looks. It's about his drive and intelligence. He could totally play a chess player one step ahead.
Unless I’m mistaken, but I don’t think he was saying that HE specifically really wants to play a role as a Bond villain. He was explaining the 3 main stereotype kind of roles that ppl who are disabled with facial differences like him end up having to play in movies. Because the interviewer told him he seen a documentary & the producer told him that “ppl with facial differences are often portrayed very specifically in narrative stuff”. So he was just naming 3 types of roles that ppl like him would most likely have to play in a movie bc of his disability.. Or did u listen correctly & are talking about him saying that in a previous interview or video? Then I would be mistaken & explained that whole part of the interview in this comment & look dumb lol 😂 (Also btw I just wanted to inform u incase u may have misheard it when u watched. I hope i didn’t come off offensive or insulting. & also agree with what u said about Adam in your comment😊)
@mattfox6263 I think you misunderstood. Adam said that pigeonholing actors with facial differences into playing Bond villain roles is lazy screenwriting (paraphrased).
Where did he say that? He literally said it's ridiculous that there have been three disfigured Bond villains in a row and that its "lazy writing". Why does such an oblivious comment have so many up votes?
Just saw this at Sundance. The film is a total mindfck. Brilliant, chilling, thought-provoking, and heartbreaking. Think vintage Twilight Zone. It was so damn good.

I think it’s two factors. 1) The hair length is awkward. He looks great with long hair (bucky length) and short, but here it looks like he had a trim and it’s medium length. Probably makes it easier for him to wear the wig he’s wearing in the movie he’s currently filming without completely getting rid of length for Thunderbolts in a month. And 2) He’s been bouncing backing and forth a lot the last three years between different weight for his roles, from Tommy Lee to Donald Trump, and I think it’s a bit hard on his skin and muscle. I expect him to bulk again fully after he’s done with his current Trump role, which requires more fat than muscle.
This is how he looks post-surgery, specifically to help with those things. It must also’ve helped his spine, as he used to have much more mass on his face.

Just saw your picture as a baby and I'm speechless. What a tragic trauma that condition makes me want to try to find a fix. Don't even know if saying sorry can make it better just because of the cliche of saying one is sorry for your suffering if that's the case. I guess is not that bad to say sorry if what you mean to say is that you can show care about someone else's suffering over etiquette. Now there's an elephant in the room that is trying to be funny like if you were wearing makeup or some cruel bullying perspective but you must get this a lot: did it hurt when you fell from heaven?
The fact that he lived with this condition for quite a while and is still with us today proves that you shouldn’t say sorry, he’s courageous and doesn’t need pity, you should just try to look at him like the human that he is. Of course he probably suffers a lot from judgmental and mean people, but i think he should be admired
