This was so sweet! We actually left the area you live in last year and moved to NC. I delivered 2 of my kids at the hospital you’ll be delivering baby girl at! It made me all nostalgic seeing my old Target, the Promenade and the hospital I delivered 2 of my babies at!! Such a fun video to watch!

Katie, you're already so beautiful inside and out but pregnancy definitely agrees with you, as you're absolutely glowing. Travis, maybe too many skin care testers, looks like you've over stimulated your face. Lol. You're both so sweet and young, but I'm so excited for your family size to turn from 3 to 4. I couldn't forget to include Remi, your 4 legged baby, she's warming up the crib for Hailey. She will probably never leave Hailey's side, they will be besties. I’m a new subscriber and love watching you. You’re both as cute as can be, but you’re so real and down to earth. It’s refreshing, as I’ve seen a good number of couples very into themselves and that’s not me. I’m 69, and have health issues, so I can tell you, you make my heart happy. You’re going to be terrific parents!
I bought a Stanley cup for my birthday and then my husband had to have one...my 2 year old LOVES it so we showed him the 20 oz tumbler and he turned it around and says, " there's no handles" and gives it back 🤣

What a fun day! On Becoming Baby Wise (and their other books as they grow) were a huge blessing for us! Every baby is different, but they will get there. Sleep is important! Think long term goals, not a quick fix and make sure you both understand it and do it together. My girls both were sleeping through the night by eight weeks. One slowly went up to it, the other one, it just clicked and happened.
So sweet of you to plan this for Katie! I read the baby wise book with our 1st baby and am still following the sleep, eat, wake-time routine that it teaches with our 3rd baby. One thing I don't recommend in that book is letting your baby cry it out since I listened to a Dr speak on emotional development in babies and how it can be damaging to let them cry it out before they are 6 months. Save yourself some post partum drama and try a no-cry sleep training method!

Just wow...married at 23...my husband was upset at our 35.00 $ phone bill the first month of marriage!!! I called my mom who lived so mins away too much, I guess!! This was in 1981...been married for 41 years,,,,he still would not honor me in the way that Travis does Katie. You have been raised right for sure. When GOD is first in a marriage...blessings follow.
$35 was a lot back then and he may have been worried how to pay bikls.

Fun day! Try not to take "Baby Wise" to much to heart. It might sound like you can get a perfect child just by scheduling.... but your baby is a human and will need to learn to grow in grace and knowledge. I know some people love this book... but it ended up being one about the worst book I read. If you are planning to nurse your baby, Katie, you need to listen to the cues your baby is giving you, not going by a clock. God has given you natural instincts and your are your baby's momma - a strict schedule can't take the place of these things. Love following your updates 🥰
