The sound clipping observation was seen in PEACE equalizer software. can u help me understand why this is happening ?
Chances are your E10K is getting a line input, which is a higher signal output that what you'll get from your PCs headphones out. This is pretty much why you shouldn't feed your amp 100% volume from PC. Hold at 80-85% tops to avoid clipping/distortion.
To anyone reading this, I would suggest not buying the 230NC. I have used it for over a year and last week the right earbud just stopped working completely. Not to mention the endless number of times the phone shows one of the earbuds to be connected when you have them both on the case and if you read a lot of the reviews online you'll see thay this is not just a faulty device issue. Regarding the qc issues. My tune beam's right side died on me after 2 weeks of use. Got it replaced in a diff color although hand to hand at their service center. So i appreciate that. I got the True beam yesterday and even though they aren't bad it's not the greatest. The sound quality is good, but the touch controls is bad. When trying to volume up and down the headphones gets a bit confused and does it's own thing. If u 1 tap to quickly to increase the volume the headset puts it softer. The fact that yoy can't change the button configuration is a crap, but I guess it's their was for u to buy the more expensive version.
Hi Paul, nice video which one should I consider to buy realme air 5 pro or JBL tune beam, hearing lot of negative reviews for JBL, but whats your pick?
I quite like the Tune Beam. Its sound is its highlight for me. It's very fun sounding and surprisingly crisp. I prefer it over the realme. If you're not sure about the JBL, the realme Buds air 5 pro are a terrific upgrade from its previous generation and is absolutely packed with features. You can't go wrong with it. Feel free to watch my review and comparisons with it.
Hi Paul, Do u think its worth an upgrade to the tune beam if someone already has the 230NC? I've had the charging problem recently but I didn't get the problem again in the last month. What's your opinion?
Based on the issues the 230NC has been known to have, if you face it again, consider taking your set to a JBL service center and requesting for an upgraded replacement unit. Go for the Tune Beam. It's a significant upgrade when it comes to the sound. The multi device pairing works quite well, and I think they've addressed this issue of one bud not charging.
Both are good products. If you like a bigger, heavier sound, I'd recommend the Tune Beam. The oppo isn't as big or confident sounding as the Tune Beam on first impressions. I am working on a detailed review on the oppo which should be out next week sometime.
thank you thank you so much for making this video and i saw your other videos too thank you telling us the whole thing about the product, please be always true and make lots of V/S videos too and review as much product as you I LIKE THE WAY YOU DO👍👍❤❤
I had twice a problem with the tune 230NC. The first time my left earbud didn’t work. I sent them back and I got a new pair. I used the new pair on a daily basis. The second time my right bud didn’t work as well and I needed full volume to hear the sound. As replacement I got the tune beams back. I’m curious how the beams will work
I've heard about the 230NC giving charging issues. Volume issues, this is the first I've heard of. Thanks for sharing. I prefer how the Tune Beam sounds over the 230NC for certain. Let me know how the Tune Beam treats you.
Currently looking for a replacement for the 230NC because my left one has volume problems no matter what I do, even at full volume I hear almost nothing :(
Oh, that sucks. I've grown to really like the Tune Beam, but in all honesty, I'm not able to use them every single day since I'm always cycling between other earphones. So far, I haven't heard of issues like this with the Tune Beam. Would reccomend.
hay paul i want to know that my last year i buy jbl 230nc and now one of them is not charging so what will i do now and i'm thinking to buy new one and if i forget this issu i loved the jbl it's sound is amazing please suggest me a new one my priority is anc and vocals hey and i show many youtubers are prasing oppo encho air 3 pro what about going for thos now i'm confused about oppo encho air 3 pro vs jbl tune beam my most use is for online classes and that i take in slient room so anc is not top notcu priority my top notch priority is vocal i want clear vocal of teacher what he is saying.
Consider going to a service center. The JBL 230NC was known to have this specific issue. Usually, what fixed it was a clean-up of the contact points on the earphones and in the case as well. Try it yourself as well before going there, it might just start working again, so would save you from buying a new set. If you do want to pick up a new set, considering you like JBL sound, the JBL Beam is a terrific upgrade on a sound front compared to the 230NC. Would highly recommend.
They both perform well. JBL doesn't use an aggressive ANC, so you won't feel pressure in your ears or feel nauseated. Noise elimination is done well for droning noises. If you have low volume media playing, noises won't be heard.
@@PaulsPOV hearty thanks for quick reply. I was just asking about your prediction. I have ordered the same in freedom sale of amazon it costs around 3500. Hello Paul excellent and through comparison as always, I personally think you are one of best revivers on Audio products and you definitely deserve a lot more subscribers. I think you may have already received a lot of request on your opinion and a review on the newly launched neckband from realme buds wireless 3, it has intresting features like ANC, etc at 1800. Your suggestion for one plus buds wireless z2 was really very good and enjoying them everyday. Also if possible oppo enco buds 2 tws as they are also available at an attractive price now. Looking forward for your valuable advice as looking for one more pair for work outs, outdoor use etc😊
Thanks Yogesh 😊 I'm not particular about my sub count. I'm sure it'll continue to grow organically as it has been all this time. My main intention is to help people understand an audio product better in hopes that it will give them some happiness when listening to music. With regard to all the requests you've just made, I'm toying with the idea of reviewing neck bands since I've gotten quite a few requests to do so lately. I'll try and get my hands on the oppo. How long have you had the Z2? A lot of people seem to like it as I do my set as well.
@@PaulsPOV Hi thanks for getting back quickly. It’s been close to a month so no issues as of now. Works best for music and calls etc never faced any problems as of now. Thanks Paul on the request only if you have the bandwidth. Neckbands are still quite popular in India I guess is due to durability and less chance of loosing as it always hangs on the neck. The Oppo enco buds 2 is a TWS under 1500
Yea, neckbands are also more convenient since you can just drop them off your ears when you don't want that distraction. The one set I recently reviewed was by Yamaha, and it really blew me away, but it is a premium set of earphones, so you do get top-notch quality and build for the price, of course.
Is is possible to set the Tune Beam into "normal mode" ? Both Ambient Aware and TalkThru generate loud white noise, but if I turn off Ambient Sound Control, it would automatically switch to ANC mode, which is battery draining. I wonder if it's possible to set this earphone into the most normal mode without ANC and ambient sound control on.
You can switch off the Ambient Sound Control via the app, which will put the earphones into a passive mode. No ANC, no Ambient mode, No Talk Thru mode. It'll only isolate your surroundings with its seal.
@@PaulsPOV I think I see where my problem is...cuz the ANC mode does not make great different! That's why I thought it turn on ANC again after switching off the ambient sound control LOL. I tried your suggestion again and surprisingly found it did become passive mode! The difference is slight though, but at least I know it is possible to use normal mode🤣. Thank you so much, you did a better help for me than JBL's official replies.

Hey! Had purchased 230NC an year ago only because of your detailed video an year ago and I am really happy with the decision! Can you please help me understand the difference between 230NC and 235NC? Also, I have to purchase a new set of earbuds for a friend, does 230 NC still is the best option or should I go for Tune Beam? Thanks in advance!
I haven't yet gotten to review the 235NC so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information. I've had a few people mention to me about an issue they have faced with the 230NC though. One bud stops charging and usually gets sorted out after a contact cleaning has been done on the buds and in the case. If you have Tune Beam budget, it's a set I genuinely enjoyed reviewing and would recommend it. Feel free to have a look at my review on it.
If it's within warranty, take it to a service center and consider asking to upgrade to the Tune Beam. The 230NC has been known to have this issue. I think the Tune Beam has addressed these issues.
I had the same issue with my 230NCs twice and both lasted less than a year...really sad considering I loved the audio quality of those. Now I've just got the Tune Beams and hope they'll last longer (and considering the sound quality should be better, I'm excited to try them out as soon as they're charged).
Thnx fr ur detailed reviews n I bought the 230nc...amazing tws...But, for calling...The person on the other end is hearing too much street noise with the 230nc when I talk on the streets, compared to my S23Ultra without tws. Can u suggest some setting?
This review is what I was really looking for on point to the matter what I wanted to know, especially on the call quality clip which no other reviewer has covered to such an extent Great video 👍🏻

I was about to buy which is best for sound quality in terms of song I was generic lover and natural sound Based on your review I would prefer JBL 230 NC over OnePlus buds z2 Pls Give me a punch in it
I think you're using transparent headphones or speakers to be able to hear that, I'm hearing the same when I use my higher end stuff. I always reduce the level of these, but I think you've mentioned this before. It's time for the track to go!
Highly disappointed with JBL Tune Beam, they are very low sounding TWS, either you are consuming any content or taking over the call (be it on laptop or phone) certainly because of 6nm drivers. Also ANC can hardly cutoff any background noise. Over all i would say 4 out of 10. Highly disappointed with @JBL. wasted my 6.5k
Please dont buy this earphone. One side of earphone (mostly left wont charge and wont work) this happens after a week of purchase and online I can see review of the same atleast 100 people same. JBL name don't judge this. I bought tune beam for 7000 and it is not working and refund ,replacement is tedious. Tamil youtubers are bought by tech companies . These guys not even used the product for few weeks and just promoting here. Worst bro you are face-orange-frowningface-orange-frowningface-orange-frowning
I know the 230NC had this issue, and I thought JBL had fixed it with the Tune Beam. My indepth review for the Tune Beam came out after 2weeks of using it and the comparison a week after that. It's still working fine without any charging issues. Let me forward your comment to JBL in hopes of some resolve. They shouldn't cause issues for a replacement or refund really.

Lo puedes hacer desde la app de JBL
Please compare 235NC vs tune beam
Hi Paul, nice video which one should I consider to buy realme air 5 pro or JBL tune beam, hearing lot of negative reviews for JBL, but whats your pick?
I quite like the Tune Beam. Its sound is its highlight for me. It's very fun sounding and surprisingly crisp. I prefer it over the realme. If you're not sure about the JBL, the realme Buds air 5 pro are a terrific upgrade from its previous generation and is absolutely packed with features. You can't go wrong with it. Feel free to watch my review and comparisons with it.
Hi Paul,
Do u think its worth an upgrade to the tune beam if someone already has the 230NC? I've had the charging problem recently but I didn't get the problem again in the last month. What's your opinion?
Based on the issues the 230NC has been known to have, if you face it again, consider taking your set to a JBL service center and requesting for an upgraded replacement unit. Go for the Tune Beam. It's a significant upgrade when it comes to the sound. The multi device pairing works quite well, and I think they've addressed this issue of one bud not charging.
I brought 235nc...
Its lid wiggles..is it normal..?
I also faced issue with right bud charging in 230nc but got replacement with tune beam.
Wow bro same 😂😂
I got replaced from
230 to 235
Then
235 to beam
Because of chargering issue
And I got it today only😂❤️
@@kshitijsinghrajput9534 😁 hope we don't face issues in beam now.

Can suggest me,Oppo enco air 3 pro or jbl tune beam which one is better to buy?
Both are good products. If you like a bigger, heavier sound, I'd recommend the Tune Beam. The oppo isn't as big or confident sounding as the Tune Beam on first impressions. I am working on a detailed review on the oppo which should be out next week sometime.
Jbl 230 ANC or oneplus nord 2 ???
thank you thank you so much for making this video and i saw your other videos too thank you telling us the whole thing about the product, please be always true and make lots of V/S videos too and review as much product as you
I LIKE THE WAY YOU DO👍👍❤❤
JBL tune beam - can we turn off the earbuds light when we use it? or the light is always blinking?
It goes off once it connects to a device.
Would reccomend.
hay paul i want to know that my last year i buy jbl 230nc and now one of them is not charging so what will i do now
and i'm thinking to buy new one and if i forget this issu i loved the jbl it's sound is amazing
please suggest me a new one my priority is anc and vocals
hey and i show many youtubers are prasing oppo encho air 3 pro what about going for thos
now i'm confused about oppo encho air 3 pro vs jbl tune beam
my most use is for online classes and that i take in slient room so anc is not top notcu priority
my top notch priority is vocal
i want clear vocal of teacher what he is saying.
Paul please tell me oppo enco air 3 pro or jbl tune beam ? Please reply
Same question
Is tune beam have in ear detection sensors?
Sadly, no it doesn't.
Which one is best 230nc tws or tune beam
beam is better than 230nc
@@akhilsethi thankyou bro
Do they have in ear detection for auto play pause ?
No, they do not.
Please review oppo enco air 3 pro and compare with others
Indepth review on it should go live by the coming Friday.
Just got to ask, how good is the anc, and is there a big difference
They both perform well. JBL doesn't use an aggressive ANC, so you won't feel pressure in your ears or feel nauseated. Noise elimination is done well for droning noises. If you have low volume media playing, noises won't be heard.
Thanks most wanted ❤❤❤
Is it any good for MS Teams meetings or calls??
I haven't tried these with MS Teams, but I have heard that the 230NC isn't recognized on it. I'll have to try them on teams to know for sure.
Is it worth buying jbl 130nc tws in freedom sale or in great Indian festival sale of October in amazon
I haven't tested the 130NC, so I can't really comment on it.
@@PaulsPOV hearty thanks for quick reply. I was just asking about your prediction. I have ordered the same in freedom sale of amazon it costs around 3500. I was planning to cancel the order because someone suggest me that the price of the product may reduce more in amazon great Indian festival sale.
There's no knowing really because the sellers sometimes keep prices up. But there's no harm in waiting if you want to. You might just get a terrific deal on it.
@@PaulsPOV thanks brother ❤️
Jbl 235 or tune beam please suggest
I haven't tested the 235 yet. I quite like the Tune Beam though.
🤣 I'm happy to help 😊
I swear by JBL for bluetooth earbuds, excellent quality for the price.
Thanks for the review

It should be out by next week sometime. I only just got my unit.
Im a heavy bass lover recommend me jbl's best one with heavy bass , btw i was thinking of jblnc230 should i buy it
Go for the Tune Beam. It's better defined than the 230NC. If you prefer loudness and more bloated bass, the 230NC makes more sense to go for.
Which is better samsung buds 2 or jbl tune beam ??

Which one has auto play pause option?
Sadly, neither of these have in ear detection, so auto play and pause isn't possible with them.
@@PaulsPOV then which one is the best option for this feature along the lines and budget of these JBLs? I have been searching but failed...to be paired with iPhone
Of the few I've reviewed, the OnePlus Buds Z2 offer a big sound with in ear detection and great ANC. It mutes out the world better than the JBLs do. It's worthwhile considering it.
@@PaulsPOV wow…really happy to see your quick reply. I will appreciate if I can get your affiliate link for this. I never considered OP for iPhone earlier but now I feel confident after your feedback.
The affiliate links are in the description, but have a look at the discount code on the JBL store. I'm not affiliated with them, but if you can get a better deal with the code, it's worthwhile for you 😊

230nc or beam?
230 vs Endurance Race TWS?
I haven't tested the endurance race TWS, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information.
I thought i was the only one with the 230nc issue.
JBL TWS does not last very long. My 230NC left bud dies after a few months, hearing similar stories from many other users too.
If it's within warranty, take it to a service center and consider asking to upgrade to the Tune Beam. The 230NC has been known to have this issue. I think the Tune Beam has addressed these issues.
I sent in my 230 for warranty and received tune beams back instead. Was wondering why lol
I had the same issue with my 230NCs twice and both lasted less than a year...really sad considering I loved the audio quality of those. Now I've just got the Tune Beams and hope they'll last longer (and considering the sound quality should be better, I'm excited to try them out as soon as they're charged).
Ya same with apple ear buds
Thnx fr ur detailed reviews n I bought the 230nc...amazing tws...But, for calling...The person on the other end is hearing too much street noise with the 230nc when I talk on the streets, compared to my S23Ultra without tws. Can u suggest some setting?
Sadly, there are no settings that can he modified for ENC.
This review is what I was really looking for on point to the matter what I wanted to know, especially on the call quality clip which no other reviewer has covered to such an extent
Great video 👍🏻
Hello paul
Please suggest me best enc earbuds for calling, better if latest.
Calling is my top priority then comes sound.
Budget around 5-7k app..
Consider these JBL Tune Beam earphones...they do quite well. They're a good all-rounder. You should be able to get a 10% discount on them using the code I've provided, from the JBL website. But see if the Amazon link is giving you a better deal since sales are going on.
i dont care about anything i want which is longer life quality to used

Hello Paul! The intro music is really loud and distorted! I thought you are the guy for healthy ears 😉
I think you're using transparent headphones or speakers to be able to hear that, I'm hearing the same when I use my higher end stuff. I always reduce the level of these, but I think you've mentioned this before. It's time for the track to go!
jbl should reduce the price, otherwise there is no competition for oppo and realme

These two are so bad exactly after one year your left side earbuds stops working and war😢ranty is also gone
Don’t buy 230 it’s has lot of charring issue even it is discontinued from the company
Will you recommend tune flex otherwise with this
