With what you spend on rattle can paint and a tad bit more you could have a nice paint gun. If you like, I'll send you one. It's a good classic one. Just let me know .
You could always put a dummy light on the dash for each engine that would go out when the engine dies, Thanks Again for the great content Joey From Statesville NC
Have to say this independent rear suspension buggy with the two motors to me is the most impressive one to date , AWESOME dude, wish I could buy it from you.
Maybe you could put a bright, small led near the start buttons for each engine and hook them up to the stators somehow so they are lit when their respective engine is running?
Bro, your fabrication skills are awesome! The way you can visualize things is unparalleled, now ya just gotta learn how to paint! You've got a bright future in the automotive field should you choose that direction.
Wait a minute that's not the one I was thinking of all week! That's like getting to your favorite show and at the end you see the dreaded words "to be contributed...."
Cool machine. As far as runni,g or non running engines you can run digital tachometers in a custom pod. You will know which engine is running. Which one runs stronger. Which engine needs to be tuned.. Etc Etc. All this time you spent grinding and sanding and you went straight to paint. No cleaning degreaser solvent. No primer / sealer I think you will find it will rust pretty quickly. With 15% more effort that finish could have lasted quite a long time. You could also clear coat the hardware to keep that from rusting and still looking crisp and new.
Nope it's not worth that expenses it doesn't work that well as I remember. Although with all the time and spray paint he must have used it may have been less cost.
10:56 I'd have probably used the chain hoist for lifting the frame instead of lifting it a little at a time. Of course, it was probably faster to do it your way since your chain hoist seems to be packed away. Need it on ceiling tracks.
Install some lights on the dash that connect to the spark plug wires almost like a spark plug test light and you will be able to tell which engine is still running just throwing that out there love you videos and your work keep it up nice job
U should maybe consider building a shed or small garage where u can store ur wonderful creations, a shame they stand out an just rust when i spend so much time on them, plus them rustin also makes more work for u. But ye the duel engine looks good, if the engines produce power when running u should make 2 red cockpit lamps that lights up when each engine is on and making power. Great work keep it going, if u read this plz abit feedback ;) by power i mean volts ^^
You could utilize the same rear suspension and have one engine by using a chain system like a two into one with the sprockets in the same location as the pivot so they dont stretch when the suspension moves through its cycle
I'll buy it as it sits .... you make awesome things.... my only question is on the new one how would you retain the rear independent with just one motor
It wouldn't be as difficult as you'd think if you used 2 ragb to drive the axleshafts, turned the engine 90 degrees and drove the connecting driveshaft between the ragb with the engine
I couldn’t do it but I’m sure you could figure out how to put a straight shaft on the rear axle and sync up the motors, something with the same idea as a bicycle pedal where it only grabs pedaling forwards?
If I made this, I would have made the frame out of 304 or 316 stainless and finished it with a #4 Brushed finish....probably because I finished stainless for a number of years professionally and have been obsessed with abrasives to the point of being an abrasives information repository and being knowledgeable on upcoming abrasive innovations. Helpful tip: When finishing metals, even just mild steel, always use Ceramic Alumina abrasives instead of aluminum oxide or even Zirconia, they last the longest, remove material faster, stay cooler and in the end cost you less. Also, always finish metals with non-woven nylon abrasives as these "close the grain" that's been lifted by the traditional abrasives and this will prevent particles from collecting in those grains and thus oxidation of those particles.
Dude....that was a TON of work! Can I suggest that next time you just use POR-15 so you don’t have to strip the rust... Really enjoy the vids, as always.
Maybe add a couple indicator lights, one for each engine that stays lit while the engine is running. Then you'll know if an engine dies while you're driving.
The magneto that operates the coil should have one wire that runs off it that gets grounded to shut down the engine if you splice this wire you can run either a tach or dummy light that let's you know that engine is running (however the dummy light cannot be an led without an in line resistor added as an led doesn't have enough resistance and as a result would ground out your magneto causing a loss of spark scenario)
Maybe for future projects use some weld through primer to save you all this time of removing all this rust. I hope that primer is as good as they show it on TV I have no idea since I have never used it. I think your time is more valuable than the price of that primer. Looks great though
Run duel tach/hour meters to monitor the engines. The cheep ones on eBay may not be accurate but they don't need to be to tell which engine is running or not.
On the rear end where you put the castle bearings I would switch those out to bushings because when you grease the bearings all the grease settles to the bottom and half of your bearing it’s rusted and ruins it
If the engines have charging system (looks like it) connect a light to it but, put in a diode so you only get power from the charging system while it is running and not from the battery. I think there should be one already the so the battery doesn't back feed and as far as the different speed idles 2 gas petals.
Mate it came up lookin great wel done have u thought about a little boat to tow behind it just for a dum idea .I built 2 outa junk funny as hell have a look if u ever get bored luv ya work mate cheers
Maybe your next build should be something all wheel drive and use a V-twin engine for torque and use it as a towing vehicle to pull the unfinished and new projects in to the shop
Very nice good mud tire mini rock crawler please let us see it happen you the man as well as that big monster in the corner put kiwsiki on it an rear end swap on the green one with daul engine an rock crewler tires
I think that vf1000 (is that right? ) should be painted silver and blue or grey and blue. He excited to see that thing get finished! Frankenstein is amazing! I like the color combo, I want a full independent suspension, 2 motored cart thing. Lol. Friggen awesome
you could add small LED's next to each kill switch running off of the coils to tell when and engine dies
Damn saw this after I commented lol
Exactly what I was going to say
was going to say run 1 cheap hourmeter/tachometer to each engine to get both engines in sync with each other
With as much rust as you grind off, it might be time for a blasting booth... lol
I'd like to see you build a 4 wheel drive kart so you can pull things without getting stuck lol
Mc Lingo on the 2 seater he should add a trailer hitch so he can move his trailer around 🤔 I think it would be cool
With what you spend on rattle can paint and a tad bit more you could have a nice paint gun. If you like, I'll send you one. It's a good classic one. Just let me know .

Look at 15:01 how big the vf1000 buggy tires are in comparison with the dual engine.... That thing is going to be a BEAST
Before you know it he'll be building big-block rock bouncers ;)
😉

Love the pieced together floor board, it’s mad max as hell!
Flaws or not I've always found this go kart innovative. You did something no other go kart mechanics done on RUclips.
Bro, your fabrication skills are awesome! The way you can visualize things is unparalleled, now ya just gotta learn how to paint! You've got a bright future in the automotive field should you choose that direction.
You built a rotisserie to paint the go kart but you use spray cans I love it
With no primer too boot.
That painting spit is a pretty slick idea.
That smile says it all, amazing transformation, love it.
How magnificent the hands and the mind that controls them.
That’s pretty good. I have a suggestion for the other buggy. You should leave it that metallic colour and clear coat it. That’d look so cleaaan
RPM gauge for each engine, so you know which engine does what
one of (if not) you'r dopest creations. A work of art. I got some of those led strips i have been looking to use. on my onewheel maybe.
Wait a minute that's not the one I was thinking of all week! That's like getting to your favorite show and at the end you see the dreaded words "to be contributed...."
Still looks petty sweet!
That's a cool project took a long time to finish you should install two little lights up by the dash then you can see what engine is still running
Looks and sounds awesome!!!! Great job!!
Great build. It turn out awesome.

Just gotta say I freaking love your videos keep doing what you do \m/ 👍
you should bring the massive dual seater build in for powder coating.. that would be sick
Nope it's not worth that expenses it doesn't work that well as I remember. Although with all the time and spray paint he must have used it may have been less cost.
@@Hoggdoc1946 the one he's building rn he's saying, we don't know how well it works yet cuz he hasn't finished it
I can’t wait to see the big gray buggy run
10:56 I'd have probably used the chain hoist for lifting the frame instead of lifting it a little at a time.
Of course, it was probably faster to do it your way since your chain hoist seems to be packed away. Need it on ceiling tracks.
Talk about over powerd have you seen grind hard plumbings new MONSTER? 2stroke snowmobile powerd odyssey , great video and can't wait
I know!! It looks like a beast!!!
T Stricklin it’s Odyssey.. no pickin just saying...
@@jvander115 meh phanettic speller, usually spell check keeps me between the lines but obviously it was useless that time ✌👍
@@justinlundberg3382 an angry beast,it'll be hard to top it but if anyone can it's Rather B ,inch for inch ,he's among the most talented creators here
you are really inspiring with all the DIY stuff you do !! keep up the good work man
Mayby use a couple of chepo electronic tachometers to tell which engine is running
Add some ignition lights for each engine to tell which ones running I think it'll be just fine ! Nice project
Install some lights on the dash that connect to the spark plug wires almost like a spark plug test light and you will be able to tell which engine is still running just throwing that out there love you videos and your work keep it up nice job
You should do a cold start and ride of all your stuff really like your videos
Thats a sick buggy man
That buggy is a monster.
I think it’s about time to build a jump for all of these long travel suspension builds! That would be sweet!!!!!
gosto muito dos seus projetos, um abraço
You could add hour meters that have the RPM feature so if one engine dies you could know which one by looking at the rpm gauges
That's what also make it easier to synchronize both engines
🔥🔥🔥love from South Africa 💯💯💯💯🇿🇦
Ja nee die ou ken sy goed
next build sounds like a good idea
The dual engine used to look big until you put it next to the new buggy
Wire a light in the dash for each engine so they are only lit when they are running. Then your know what starter to hit if one of the engines die.
Excelente job .. greeting from Argentina...
I like every single one of your videos
Great design. Would a drain hole for the pan be wise in order to evacuate water that may accumulate during your off road adventures?
That's a good idea...maybe, a row of lightening holes to remove some weight, too.
Looks good!👌 Nice video as always
Jeeez, that could be so good Evapo-rust project xD
U should maybe consider building a shed or small garage where u can store ur wonderful creations, a shame they stand out an just rust when i spend so much time on them, plus them rustin also makes more work for u. I would love to see you how you set up the drive for each wheel as it is independent suspension...🤔
With that much rust, you need to get a 55 gal drum of evapo-rust. It'll do you some good!! Great build, glad to see it done.
@rather B welding. That's the way we do it. Amazing job young man. The way i do it. lol
I'll buy it as it sits .... you make awesome things.... my only question is on the new one how would you retain the rear independent with just one motor
Add a led for each engine on the dash board from the Alternator charge output. It will show you that the engine is running.
Love a montage 👍🏻
You should try to make on of the go carts 4x4 ik it would be difficult but I think u you would be able to do it with how handy you are
It wouldn't be as difficult as you'd think if you used 2 ragb to drive the axleshafts, turned the engine 90 degrees and drove the connecting driveshaft between the ragb with the engine
I fucking love the trap music instrumentals. Videos are so fun to watch
do a cross kart build with big 4 wheeler tires!! You should also try a little fiberglass too because it's unique
Btw I'm a long time subscriber and I really love you're content!
Great job.
Paint the big new one Red white and blue.
It would look even better if the red part of the seat was a matching green!
I'm waiting for the 4x4 build
I think Chris is waiting for RUclips money. Wanna supply it to make it go faster?
I couldn’t do it but I’m sure you could figure out how to put a straight shaft on the rear axle and sync up the motors, something with the same idea as a bicycle pedal where it only grabs pedaling forwards?
Mount some little LEDs up front and wrap the positive wire around each spark plug wire. That will show which engine is running and which has died.
Nice job.. I woulda painted the floorpan black tho. Hides the welds better...

He really be doing too much. And he's a one man band. Work smarter not harder!
Build a shed where you can keep your karts
awesome, good job
It looks really fun, but it must have a lot of body roll, maybe you should put a harness
I had a Ninja 650, That motor has a ton of torque.
Maybe add a couple indicator lights, one for each engine that stays lit while the engine is running. Then you'll know if an engine dies while you're driving.
It would be cool to try and put a light on the dash for each engine to show when there running. I don't know how it could be done thou

Me: This Time i wont do such a mess in my garage
My Hand on the Gas Pedal: Yes but actually no
Me: ....
Looks good. You should check out Cross Karts for your next build.
Run duel tach/hour meters to monitor the engines. The cheep ones on eBay may not be accurate but they don't need to be to tell which engine is running or not.
If you had air shocks,a small compressor and tank, and some sensors, it could lean into a hill as you drive.
Something I haven't seen yet and could be cool would ba a 6 wheeler kart
It has been done before
What sandblaster were you using? That looked handy
On the rear end where you put the castle bearings I would switch those out to bushings because when you grease the bearings all the grease settles to the bottom and half of your bearing it’s rusted and ruins it
When you were towing that it looked like it needs more caster in the steering brother...it should have followed
6:28 good song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What size are the rod and tubing that you used for the pivots on the control arms? Are they regular steel?

How's it so well ballanced
Time to build yourself a mini tow truck
Can you put two led’s that run off the stator with diodes that shows that the engine is running?
Should put two little lights on the dash wired up to the magnito

Painting the dual engine go kart is brought to you by "Rather be Hammering" xD
No primer? Or all in one paint?
I never seen him prime anything. Just put regular cheap paint on his projects. I guess he doesn't care that much about them.
I think that vf1000 (is that right? ) should be painted silver and blue or grey and blue. He excited to see that thing get finished!
Frankenstein is amazing! I like the color combo, I want a full independent suspension, 2 motored cart thing. Lol. Friggen awesome
You should full weld the floor pan then grind it smooth it would look 1000x better
