SubhaanAllah I sat in most of the amau junior classes with my 12 year old son who’s in the senior class.
I am doing a BA Islamic studies degree online and was praying for a similar style amau class for women and men for my husband. Now this is available. I do intend on completing with my current university as well but I’m thinking I could do amau academy as well as additional knowledge to fill in any gaps as well in Shaa Allah and for lifelong learning إن شاء الله.
As well as learning with the entire family including our other children ameen.
The flexibility of this academy allows for students to do their best with the time they have ameen. جزاك اللهُ خيرا

Wa 'alaykumussalaam warahmatullahi wabarakaatuhu. This program is not something we will actively help the student with. However, we have laid out some guidelines in our prospectus on how the student can memorise The Qur'an whilst attending the program, in shaa Allah. May Allah increase you in beneficial knowledge and righteous actions!

Asalamu alikum it was mentioned in the pathways, that tajweed will also be part of a pathway. Will we get one-one support with a teacher to be able to recite fluently and with a tune?

I have one question/favor to ask. Would it be possible for the AMAU team to put together a video on detailed explanation of how we should “take notes” during the class? I have heard many times from ustadhs about the importance of taking notes, but I am not quite sure how I can maximize the benefit from note-taking. I believe this would be very beneficial for brothers and sister to retain the knowledge gained from the classes if the note-taking process were demonstrated by ustadhs themselves. Wa Allaahu a’lam.

I don't see why not brother. It's a self paced program. You can study at your own pace as I have understood. Studying Islam is a lifelong journey. May Allah guide us all to study the deen.

I was interested in learning hanbali madhab. Got to know that it will be added in the future Insha Allah. So should I start learning shaf'I madhab or wait for hanbali.? Is it best for a student of knowledge to learn all madhabs or just one is enough ?

@@boy8513 As far as I remember. it was said that for the time being shafi'i madhab is taught but in the future Insha Allah other 3 madhahibs will be taught too . Allah Knows Best

Is it okay to not do the fiqh section when you start talking about the shafii madhab, as i do not want to change madhab.
I think it will enhance your legal ratio analysis in general, you will benefit from this, also you will avoid Hizbiyyah to one Madhab if you understand the analogy of multiple legal schools.
The student is free to choose the pathways they study, as long as they start with Aqeedah. May Allah increase you in beneficial knowledge and righteous actions!

@@TM7Vidz It is a legal term, it basically means any rule and practice from the text used by the Jurist or in this case a student of knowledge either expressly or impliedly in reaching his conclusion, which forms the bases for a sound Ijtihad to be be performed and executed in the given topic.
