This could be renamed to "Time Sonic" And since they're the "Time Stones" instead of making him act like super sonic, you could make him, not invincible, but keep that same speed he has in this video, maybe add a power? Like a time skip or time stop skill, that would be so cool!

How did you get supersonic into this fight? I know there’s a supersonic item box in the bug mode but in my experience it just makes you invincible and super fast without changing your Sprites.
Yes, addon mods are 100% fine! The mod is easily able to be modified and also does other things that the current one doesn't, such as having full proper idle animation support for both normal Sonic and Super Sonic and by extension, Tails.

Decomp is the way to go with it. Steam is technically supported but since it's not easily accessible, decomp is better suited for it.
