      Then maybe you don't know that Japanese people ...who are more developed then us have signs of "don't harass others" on 80% of their Metro's
      Because females traveling in train are harassed on a regular basis
      70% of Indian men aren't bad not do they view women like a object .... unfortunately the remaining 30% of men comprises of 400-500 millions of people ...which is a large number indeed
      So basically any problem in India is automatically a big issue due to it's population

      @user-qw9fq9vb5c 5 лет назад +18

      Brown-Pride what we also need to remember is, since India is a developing country and a strong male dominated society, when women get raped in India, many of them do not report. Because reporting the crime hurts the women more than the men. Especially in poorer areas in India, getting raped brings shame to your family, it tainted your reputation and you will never find a husband. The US, although still male dominated, protects women a little bit better by having a more completed legal system for sexual harassment cases.

      I still think there might be a connection with development. As an example, during after the 2010 Haiti earthquake(I'm Haitian by the way), there were tent cities established to house the homeless. There were reports of UN soldiers and men from neighboring tents going into random girls' tents and raping them. People are more likely to take advantage of a situation when they know there is not a system in place to properly punish wrongdoings.

      I was born and raised in a village in India with a population of approximately 2000. I know how these kind of Interviews can be misleading that countryside women experiences more sexual assaults than compared to towns and cities. It's not true for most of the countryside at least in southern India where I am from. People in the villages will beat up the robbers and thieves, and people who mistreat women and then they will handover to the police. Robbers and sexual predators are more afraid to do such things in Villages than in towns and cities. I am speaking with my own experience. If you look at some rape cases and child molestation cases from the past in India, they all had taken place in towns and cities. for example Nirbhaya, Muzaffarpur Shelter case etc.

Similar case was between a gf/bf when bf broke and gf false accused him.

    Asian Boss seem to be a bit selective on the (somewhat old) topis it picks up for India and this video is based on a survey that was done in early 2018 when western media was going berserk on its coverage of sexual violence in India. Anyhow, India is NOT any less or more safe than any other country in the world. This "survey" was done by Reuters, a british news agency, by asking just one question on women's safety to 550 "experts" in total in 193 countries and gave this so called "ranking" in which India was declared as the most dangerous country in the world for women while United States ranked joint third when respondents were asked where women were most at risk of sexual violence, harassment and being coerced into sex. 90% of these so called "experts" have never visited India and went purely by "perception" of what they are either hearing or watching in the media. This "expert" panel also included a selective few chosen from India.

And all these so called statistics and surveys about India being the most dangerous country in the world for women or every 13 min woman being raped is straight up BS and is stupid stuff made up by Western Media outlets to spread negativity about India......similar is done with lot of other countries for different reasons coz hey, it is cool to look down and create negativity towards certain bunch of people even if it means using made up and exaggerated stats that are totally fake

Additionally, I've even asked a few very close female friends of mine whether they've been under situations as such in Bangalore, and most of them have never. I am from the North East India and I must add that most places in India is unsafe for women. Especially it's true for us when we go to the mainland India. We experience culture shock. Like the ladt in red tee shirt tells, people brushing against you in trains, road, bus, etc is too common that when asked such questions, they don't even consider it as sexual harassment. I can easily say, even staring is sexual harassment which is far toooooo common in mainland India. In the northeast India, such things are rare and mostly we connect such crimes and creepy habits with the migrants from the mainland India.
    Indians get too sensitive and go on a denial mode when such questions arise but they themselves starts admitting after some time... Hypocrites. The society is such. We must address it and not brush it under the carpet then only we can save the image of India by bringing some change. Instead of denying my answer, I hope the readers better learn to introspect and work on this issue firstly by not denying the reality.
