Fuck. I can't put into words how ready I am for this album. This is my favorite of the three released so far, moving, emotional, powerful. I have loved seeing the evolution of this band from the very beginning, tssf will always have a special place in my heart.
Been losing my Dad who's on the way out, so been bawling all afternoon looping this. Hit's deep. 33 and listening to these guys 13 years straight. Hard to explain how special the feeling is of growing with them, particularly through tough times.
So sorry to hear man. Been listening to them the same about of time, about to be 30. Dad killed himself when I was 16, first thought this song was about a relationship and that was tough on its own, and then I made the correlation…tough shit. We can get it through it dude
Hey brother, very sorry to see this. I lost my dad last year and this song hit me like a ton of bricks. Crazy how powerful these guys songs can really be for us. Praying for your strength man 🙏🏻
Damn, that quick part @0:48 where Parker sings fast and bouncy, like the old days!!! I hope this whole record is banger like that! THAT'S the old style, I love. This track is great!
I would rather these guys take off all the time they need to make the best quality material. They are one of the few bands I listen to that have a flawless discography. At this point, that has to put some serious pressure on them to not falter. Letterman is seriously one of the best songs they've ever written.
@@JC-hq7iu It might be my most anticipated album of the year. Intervals' new album was up there too but it's here now haha. If anything in 2024 tops intervals, tssf, and knocked loose's albums I'll be surprised. I'm pretty stoked on a new 311 album coming finally this year too but I think I'm anticipating TSSF the most. Did you hear the whole thing already??
That chorus destroyed me, you can feel the grief in Parker's voice, all the boys are locked in, beautiful song. I'm sure Parker's dad is very happy and proud ❤️
you mean filtered... i did like the song but it's clear as water that these vocals are completely filtered and he never sings well like this live btw, no problem at all for me lol love their concerts the way they are
So much feeling of loss in Letterman and All This Time. You can tell his father meant more than the world to him. Hope he knows that we'll always be here to support him and The Story So Far.
@@moocaplaza6636 No doubt in my mind a significant amount of Letterman, Big Blind, and this song are still about Lindsey. Definite grief of loss here, but certain lines have to be about her as well, wouldn't make sense if they weren't.
My dad was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and this made me think of him even though he isn’t gone yet but I thank Parker for his lyrics on this one ❤
I'm at the part of my life where it's fully sunk in that I dont have my dad anymore. I am truly growing up with this band. Letterman and this really brings joy and tears to me. Thank you TSSF and I miss you, Dad.
Man, TSSF choruses are so good. I feel like some bands go for the most obvious hook and these boys do not. They make you work for that sweet sweet melody and once you’ve acquired the taste, it is such a rewarding experience. Shits gonna be stuck in my head forever
I cant express how much I love listening to TSSF and how much I can relate to the lyrics. recently i lost my father aswell and also been through a breakup and i cant tell how much their songs have helped me getting through all of this! Beautiful song parker! You are not alone! Hope you are doing okay!
One of the best songs they've made. Really hard to choose. Dudes have made some of my favorite songs ever. Seen them live so many times and cant wait to see them again.
I LOVE how they include these awesome transitions between songs on every album. Man I still live for All Wrong to Bad Luck to this day. Cant wait for this album!!
the best band ever, i swear... i'm never not happy when listening to the story so far. you guys really help people out here, been giving me hope and keeping me psyched to live day to day with your music. please don't ever stop!
The lapse in released music makes me listen to each new release 4 million times and now I know every song by them ever. I wouldnt have it any other way
I’m for, and understand when bands grown and evolve , having a change of sound/ pace or whatever. These guys do grow and evolve but always keep their wits about them. They stick to their sound, their roots and I will always appreciate that. Plus they slap 🤣
Every time I go through a break up this band puts out a new album. Going through a break up, and all of a sudden the new album is gonna be released on my birthday
Feel like a part that doesn't get talked about enough is 1:12, just the straight emotion in the bridge to a real raw emotion saying because YOU said you wanted out. I know every time I listen to this banged I practically lose my voice on that part
Classic TSSF sound. This about to become my album of the year.
This 100%

0:22 "so just say you want out and we can stop all this pain now" TSSF BRINGIN THOSE HUGE SAD CHORUSES BETTER THAN EVER!
Sounds like he's talking about his dad. "Making plans for when your light goes out." Writing a will? Really heavy shit.
@@FREEM1ND took me a couple listens for it to sink in, definitely hits 1000x harder now :(

Same ❤
Stay strong brother - Jcan
It's amazing. Parker sang this whole album with his hands in his pockets.
That's how you know it's authentic "Sullen Parker"
why is that amazing
😅😅😅😅😅😅 such on point. Oasis style
Just saw them in St. Louis this past Saturday and I can confirm this statement 👌
Why did I envision this immediately? 😂 🎯

That drumstick tease at the end tho, you're sure the next track is a fucking banger as well. Can't wait for the full album!
that's was correct.
This is one of the greatest songs this band has ever recorded. Holy shit

Did Parker have daddy issues? I mean, this was 3 years ago and he still hasn't gotten over it.
Whoa Parker’s voice is always getting better with every album can’t wait for the whole thing (I compliment the song and I start a comment war)
I think there’s a slight vocal effect on the word “You” going into the hook that really makes this an ear worm

The lyrics and instrumentation feel like maturity. A band in their own, and in their prime. It's been awesome to have been part of the journey.
