We fell for each other with a Borana guy (from Marsabit) and and I was ready for everything but when it came to changing my religion things fell apart. Much as we loved each other so so much i said no for my faith. He could not believe because he knew they intermarry with wa Meru. Some people thought of me being foolish but for me I considered my faith which was very strong into Christianity. So i could not put marriage before my faith.

The good thing is, she didn't just go into Islam directly because of Ali but she came to her decision after soul searching, prayer and all that. So let's stop judging her. Many of us are in our religions because that's what we were taught by our parents an it's stuck on our minds. Not because we're sure of it's legitimacy. Anyone who carefully studies Islam will leave Islam...i don't see her talking about talking about the "soul searching " in depth.and if she does ,you won't hear anything like I asked God to reveal himself and he dis reveal himself and guided me to the right path.Most of it is just emotional decisions,...other than that,she didn't go into depth about her experience as a Christian and pinpointed the reasons as to why she left the faith.I can confidently say,part of it has to do with love and most of it has to do with manipulations .She seems to lack deeper knowledge of what I slam really is.Once they start telling you that we also believe in Jesus ,then twist the trinity ,...a weak Christian might fall

Don't just convert because you love Islam, study it and understand it then makes your decision, walk to a mosque and take the shahada, inform your parents later, hopefully you're 18 and above with freedom of worship.

Hii lovely gal, you good hope so. I was in a situation where i was to convert to be a muslim but it did not happen.. No religion will ever take anybody anywhere. What i know is the truth shall set free. Am glad i settled to knowing that Jesus is the way and the truth.. Peace be upon you mama.

Hi makena,,, mashallah, ur story is similar to mine, since icekul I loved Muslims like I had headwraps allover friends, now the issue is converting is the most toughest desicion to Make,, now I love a muslm guy and am struggling so much to slim, but I love Muslims mama so I hopefully soon I will be a muslim... For me i dated a Muslim guy for so long, but when alisema tu itabidi ni convert to Muslim, nikamwuliza waeza siku moja kubadilisha dini uwe mkristo alikataa Ile noma sana, tuliachana tu hapo, until now I'm continue with my Christian religion, i can't covert to Muslim because of love

I was converted to islam NA nilikuwa NA bidii sana ku soma Quran bt something ilitokea and it was hard for me to maintain islam coz i was strangling with my spirit the day nilirudi kwa christian nilipata amani bt Dini ya kislamu si mbaya and i love they culture kufast i fast bt my spirit ilikata

I can NEVER convert to Islam am married by one and I even stopped him going to mosque. We go to church.

I converted because of my boyfriend I loved him and I did not want to loose him and I regret doing that so much until today
