I care for a chronically ill mother who was never scientifically supposed to be able to get pregnant. She had me in 1994 and my brother in 1999. She is my WORLD!! I am the gleaming blade of solar light that cuts down all darkness in her path. She was born in September of 1969 and graduated from Catholic girls high school in Chicago (we are Italian American by the way) in the year of 1987. So this band and it's timeless song hold an immensely special place in my heart. Some have said that I am her personal Superman, but I feel insulted by being compared to just Superman. I am her personal Dr. Manhattan. I have a set of special powers. When I was just 14 months old, my family were driving through a cemetery in the Chicago suburbs and I tell my mom, "I don't want to be hear, the babies are crying". This was when we were driving through the babyland section and this occurred more than twice. My powers are such a gift. The darkness here in New Mexico tried to pull me in for several years (2007-2015) and I resisted it so long that it gave up. I often break down in a mess feeling as if I have failed my mom because I have yet to fully heal her. But I feel a change coming. I will heal her in the next couple of years and I will also at long last finally meet the gorgeous short haired Latina goddess who traipses through my dreams on no discernable schedule named Eliana Delmyna Rubio. I think that 2023 is going to be a very good, productive and enlightening year.
