So do I. For me, her breathtaking performance was the short program, 2000 US figure skating championship where she amazed everybody, the commentators were so emotional.she was a pioneer of new techniques and for me remains the best on the whole. But her nerves had betrayed her at the competitions.
I believe that Sasha really goofed by leaving Robin Wagner. Instead of CA Dreaming she should have dreamed Gold with a tough coach that didn't blow smoke up her rear! I'm a huge Cohen fan, just calling it as I see it.
Triple toe was always such a bad jump for her, which is weird because when it did work she could do it in combo with a half loop and triple salchow. But that was rare. Her toe loop kind of reminds me of Carolina Kostner's in technique and liability.
It’s so heartbreaking that she never has a clean program. I remember one program. It was all the way down to the last job you know like I wonder what she thinks about that you know not not happy
Kwan has nothing on her but consistent jumps in competition! Really the artistry, line, style, technique and programs of Cohen far surpass Kwan. Wake up proud one!
@Satans Lair it's not about me Satan! It's about Cohen's artistry and proper moves according to musical composition. Find a better hobby than to smear the most balletic skater since John Curry - Peggy Flemming. If you don't like to watch Cohen the buzz off versus being a trouble making Satanist.
@@abshalommil-alsberg1997 Sasha honestly told people that she learned a lot from Michelle's performance when she was young. Yes, people can see how Michelle's artistry impacted Sasha Cohen. 😁

Kwan got boring, always skated a safe program relying on the others to do triple combos and fall, she won with her safe little jumps and same programs in differemt order esch time, that is how she always won. Sasha moved you when she skated, you felt joy and emotion. Michelle never did that that for me anyway.

The most artistic figure skater of all time.
No way.
Peggy Fleming and Michelle kwan were better than Sasha Cohen in artistry.
@@TT-ee4qp 🤣🤣🤣 that’s funny tell another one

Michelle kwan got the most perfect 6.0 ( 57 times ) in the figure skating history.
👍👍👍👍👍
And how many 6.0 that Sasha got ......😇
@@TT-ee4qp what does that have to do with artistry. I can get straight A’s in art classes while the real artist is overlooked
The jumping gets more technical. But I really miss these beautiful long spirals we used to see from Sasha & Michelle Kwan.

Yeah a lot of her coaches got fed up by her laziness
Spot on! She needed a kick in the ass! Without a doubt, the most talented!
What happened to that coach Robin Wagner? She just disappeared from the skating after coaching Sasha Cohen.
@@PanchoMaldonado-hf6rq no she coached Elene Gedevanishivili
Despite the fall of that 3T,the performance itself was brilliant.
She’s got great interpretation of the music

She’s amazing
Yes, her artistry was just second to Michelle kwan.
@@TT-ee4qpher artistry was first. Not second tf are you smoking
She should’ve stuck with the white dress for this program. She always choked in her long programs.
Her skills in skating is good but she feel and slips in the ring,,so thats why Michelle won the gold medal....
No match for the KWAN
