I think it has to do with the interest in Gomes (Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, Spurs). It's so nice to get cover for him, just in case, when the desperation for big signings looms at the end of the transfer window.

Could be a great addition he can play both positions, he is 6.2”, so would also add height to midfield where is is needed, I like his ability to pass over the top, I think he will get the best out of Cunha and Larson

Dave this sounds good news. Wolves need to boost their defence. Unfortunately his lack of premiership experience will not make him immediately useful. Initially he will probably cover players who are injured. What we need now is a player who can score goals.

Also, why do we have to keep buying Portuguese players? if we buy him he will be the seventh Portuguese player, i get it, as they’re good on the ball, but they’re not the best or must physical or strength wise players, I’d rather have a big physical strength French player from the french league anyway, we should be sorting out the defence and buying another defender or someone to replace Hwang anyway.

And this season he has been a sub more times than he has played !!!........he is not an international either.....Something not quite right, but I hope im wrong.
