Driven the Bezza 1.0 (not the latest GX) for nearly a week. Mileage is pretty low. It feels hollow, ride comfort is below par from A-segment benchmark (Picanto), engine noisy & unrefined, steering vibrating, rattling interior, sub-standard plastics and unconvincing handling. Perodua seriously need to perform structural changes to the axia/bezza platform: put more % of high strength steel in critical areas. Malaysians are sophisticated than Indonesians when it comes to NVH & ride handling dynamics. The original Axia (Daihatsu Ayla/Toyota Agya) just do not meet Malaysians expectations: its purely A-to-B econobox with absolutely no driving pleasure. Not even close to the Koreans. Hopefully u can review the Bezza 1.0 too.

But I have one request though, I figured that you're kind of a Proton fans, so maybe lah, help do a review of Suprima S. Is it still a relevant car in 2018 compared to the other cars in its segment? Heard rumors that Proton may be doing an updated version of it but I don't feel like it's going to be realised soon considering that Geely has taken over.

Bro Kon. Help me. The touchscreen in the Advance supports MirrorLink function, right? Mine has and its great. But whats not really great is why the screen turns off my Waze and Gmaps whenever I start to drive and release handbrake? Useless la like that if screen disables android navi app. Defeat the purpose of MirrorLink. Is yours like this too?

Head unit is not a cd player (fm/am tuner, bluetooth & usb) 8. Less indicator from meter panel 9. USB charger only 1 Since im the owner for new saga, persona premium & bezza premium X...i believe bezza contender is the new saga

I think the rather interesting thing is the part where if you are looking for a city sedan the Bezza is better, but the long distance cruiser, the Saga is the better one. In fact the longer cruises alleviates the achilles heel of the Saga, the clutch based CVT's lurchy performance in city traffic.

Rode shotgun in a peer’s Bezza. Man the seat sucks. The part where you actually sit on felt so, short.. Good thing it was a short commute. Body roll, I won’t even go there. Noisy. Very very subpar interior design/material. But of course lah kan. Econobox. What do I expect anyway

My 1.3 Bezza gives about 20km/litre. Constant speed of 110, NS highway from Malacca to JB only RM17.

No doubts about that. The Iriz has its flaws, but definitely more refined than the Bezza

Your findings are consistent with my experience in the Axia, but I have to clarify that the 1.3 as tested here does feel more refined on the move.
Saga vvt is better in term refinement. Which is quieter i think it is the quietest proton car up to date. Handling is very good...

Suprima S.... handles as good as any car, but transmission really robs the car of its full performance potential.

Actually, bezza have engine temperature indicator.. It's a blue icon and will light up when engine is cold during start up..

You are correct, of course. I was thinking from the perspective of the car's handling dynamics. The Saga feels more stable at high speed.
