This should be the minimum standard set to the rest of the TN... Don't we deserve this kind of standard after paying so much of taxes. We need strict rule to curb corruption at root level. Corruption and substandard work are everywhere in India. No contractor is liable to answer to anyone. Any politicians and contractors who do substandard work should be ripped off all the basic rights to live in the state. Also, need to enforce strict laws who trash the city or don't follow city norms. We as a citizen should have basic responsibility to keep our city clean by not throwing trash wherever we like. Hope, our next generation will be more responsible and let us teach them the value of respecting the city they live. Jai Hind.

If city is smart why people uses the car horn that much. I lived in Mexico City the traffic is heavy too and people don't use the Horn, believe it or not. Horn can't do anything for heavy traffic. Driving ability is more useful.

Not as an insult, but Bangalore was good 20 years back when it was not an IT hub. There were more trees and road width was enough for traffic that time, but now people have immigrated, vehicles have increased, trees have been cut, but still the roads are narrow like it was 20 years back. It is high time Indians cities needs to be decongested, be it Bangalore, Chennai or Hyderabad, you name it. Except weather and pubs, I did not find anything smart or extra special, it is just another Indian city.
