the rich man made a huge contribution to the charity. and the rich man made a huge contributions on the charity. what is their difference and which one is correct? my question is in this two parts, 'contributions' and the preposition 'on' . staying at home gets me bored is more natural than staying at home gets me into boredom.
Both are correct. But you can't say "a contributions" because "a" is only for singular nouns. And for the prepositions as well both to and on are correct but "to" is more common. And for the second question, you are right the first one sounds more natural but the second one is also correct. The answer for the Amharic question was just the second one. Thats why. Since the lesson was about noun, verbs and adjective forms of a word.
