Rayla seems to be the main focus of season 5. To be fair in season 4 she was kinda passive. I hope the writers don't mess up rayllum even more. Rayla has hurt callum, but doesn't apologize on screen to callum. I hope the writers don't make rayla to the stereotypical girl boss that plague other shows. Callum seems to be a bit insecure. I find it interesting that stella is with him at thr library. Soren is now a side character. He seems always in the background. Season 4 skipped the viren/soren confrontation. Ezran is a king that goes on adventure. That the show forgets that Ezran is a king that has a kingdom is becoming a running gag. Team Claudia seems to be suprisingly passive. It seems the showrunners don't have the guts to make her a full fledged antagonist. The villains need to get more threatening. And to carry around a half dead dad in the middle nowhere doesn't seem interesting. The sunfire elves seem to be involved in the main plot now. Karim escaped and will likely seek sol regem. I think that Karim failed too much in s4 to be threatening. Therefore sol regem needs to take over. I think the coins will be delivered to Ethari and Rayla gets a bow. I am not sure if s5 will save dragon prince. I think s5 will be Rayla and Viren time to shine. The rest i am unsure.
Callum is getting the Anakin Skywalker treatment in Dragon Prince and this perfectly sets up for to Callum join Aaravos in the end. Aaravos did want Callum to replace Viren as his student, enforcer, and agent. What Aaravos desires the most is a human strong enough to overthrow and humiliate the Startouch Elves. Having a human defeat the Startouch Elves will somewhat make the Startouch Elves, who see themselves as untouchable gods, have some humility and see that they are not untouchable.
I wonder if Ezran will have a new voice actor for the new season. Not that his voice actor is bad or anything, but Ezran is growing and his voice should probably be a bit deeper by now I'm saying this like I watched the entire fourth season, I actually haven't, I just saw like the first episode
For me personally this show is kinda like rwby just that the first three seasons of dragon prince were actually more polished obliously because of budget and creators. Even if they are not avatar levels of good it really managed to get you into the world and story and wants you to see where it goes. And then season 4 came and it had some interesting and nice aspects but overall it felt like it was dragging out some stuff and had some things that really left bad taste in my mouth for the direction of the show. Terry really felt so tacked on and out of place for example.
I'm not saying that Callum should forgive Rayla so easily for leaving on his birthday to find Viren. I'm just saying that by how much luck the group has in surviving and almost being separated from each other temporarily. I just think that Callum should pull Rayla to the side and talk to her about what they have to do as a couple to work out their relationship. Because Rayla didn't leave again before the last episode of Season 4 ended. So if she did stay this time then I believe that her and Callum can work out their relationship. But they need to talk about it when they have some alone time. Not when their saving the world again. And I'm saying this right now if something bad happens to sweet Terry i will freak out. (🤓)
I want the little star monkey that Rayla has to have a bigger goal like why was he throwing those gems into portal how was he doing that how is he even on earth he is a star being
For me personally I will probably skim through story beats and just that. Because I have zero faith in the story telling not being artificially panned put into four seasons. The number of chapters should not determine the length or pace of a story
Hmm bit of an odd theory, in the image with Viren, the background looks a little like what Callum wnet through after he used Dark Magic. So what I'd Viren is going to find a way to access an Arcanum and use Primal magic and he begins leaving Dark Magic behind. A bit unlikely but still it would be pretty cool I think.
I’d say Terry was one of the worst things about book 4, might be better in book 5 idk. Terry just seems like a bland character to me. The writers just made this character up out of nowhere, and yah i get the two year long time gap but in reality, lets be honest, the story would’ve been ten times better without the time gap. Time gaps make the story tell you what happened instead of showing you, which leads to poor storytelling. My final complaint is that books 4 and 5 were and are being made around the same time, so judging by that it is safe to assume that book 5 will have the same amount of quality as book 4. And to say the least, i hated book 4.

For some reason, every time I see a non-happy Ezran, I always feel worried that he'll become an jerkass or something like that.
