    I tried your trick of putting some glue in the cracks then sanding some sawdust in there and it worked great! I've seen people mix sawdust and glue and put it in cracks, but I've never been able to make it work well so this trick is perfect for me! Thanks for sharing and great looking project!

      Thanks Rob, I'm glad you liked it! When I was trying to premix it I could never get the consistency right, plus it made more of a mess and didn't look as good. I can't remember where I picked this trick up from though.

    Make sure you let those oiled rags fully dry out before throwing them out! Just watched a video where someone tested spontaneous combustion, and that exact oil, when the rags were just thrown away in an open trash bin, spontaneously combust after about 6-7 hours!
    Beautiful looking table though!

      Thanks! Yeah that Bourbon Moth video was really fascinating. I actually cut out the middle man and just go burn them in my firepit straight away.
