- Willow Flowage Scenic Waters Area is in northern Wisconsin. I went camping at one of the free dispersed camping areas in the 27,000 acre State scenic waters area. There are 30 remote campsites, most are only accessible by boat a few by hiking and two by car. There are also 7 group campsites.

This looks amazing. Which site is it that you can get to from the road and how far of a hike is it?
You can drive to sites 26 and 28, it is just a short walk from where you park to the site. Two of my adult children are going camping on one of the Islands with their friends for a week in a few days.

I think there are just two you can drive to they are on the southwest side of the area. There are several others that you can hike to. Most require a boat or canoe.
