Paddy care at milking stage | Potash spray at grains filling stage in rice crop | Abid Ali Agrarian
In this video, I will briefly explain milking stage of rice crop. Ideal temperature, best foliar spray and irrigation or water requirements at milking stage of paddy crop.
Ideal temperature for grains filling is 22 to 30 degree Celsius. High temperature reduces the period of grains filing. In normal situations, milking stage is for 15 days. Heat stress or drought stress can minimize it upto 12 days. Cold temperature can extend this stage UpTo 18 days.
Best foliar spray at this stage is potash. Potassium nitrate 1.5 kg per acre can be sprayed. Katalyst is also a n excellent product for this stage of paddy crop.
Standing water is not required at this stage.
