If anyone wants to know, this movie was filmed in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Deep Cove (North Vancouver)-specifically at Panorama Park and Cates Park-and Steveston Village in Richmond. Beautiful scenery!!

When I tell you I kept looking at this book for months, and walking right past it. Even read the synopsis and was like meh. I put it back on the shelf. But I just kept seeing it everywhere and being talked about. So I finally checked it out from the library.
Needless to say…it was amazing. I loved that book. I was not expecting it to be a fast and 5 star read. And to think I was not gonna read that book at all.
Remarkably Bright Creatures was one of my surprising top reads for 2024, probably the only one to be honest. I’m glad I read it when I did, because now the library holds are gonna increase once again lol.

theaters are junk these days with sticky floors, trashy seats and inconsiderate people who don't know how to shut the F up so others can enjoy the film. ALL THAT PLUS the noisy ass candy/snack wrappers!!! Just go to a local store spend $300 on a huge TV and watch this at home in peace and quite!

It's funny... Alfred Molina and Sally Field working together again... Like that movie in 1991, 'Not Without My Daughter'. That was a tough movie to sit through. But at least this time, with this feature, the circumstances are slightly different.
That movie ripped my heart out.
They both gave great performances in that film. Alfred and Sally. It will be great to see them working together again.
