- damianbacci.com In this Rockabilly guitar lesson, I'll be teaching you to add the diminished sound to your Rockabilly guitar solos. It's a great way to spice up your solos and give your lines some tension. Adding a fresh harmonic dimension to your Rockabilly solos.

Damian thank you for a new video, could you give us examples of rockabilly players that had diminished scales added to their solos/music? And THANKS for all your western swing videos !!

Thanks for this lesson, Damian! I'm more of a ukulele player myself, but I've found your lessons to be really helpful in developing a cool rock & roll/rockabilly playing style on the uke! I'll be sure to try to implement more diminished sounds into my licks. This sounded awesome! Cheers from the Netherlands

Damian old chap, is it possible you could show us a couple of tasteful turnarounds some time? I hear Brian Setzer do them and I just can't figure the chords out. I would be eternally grateful for your help and thank you for your vids. Regards, Mikey.
Thanks for watching Mikey and thanks for the suggestion. :)
Since you started to explain the theory background of what you’re playing, your lessons have become extremely helpful ...
... can you make a Restless/Mark Harman lesson one day pleeeease? :) e.g. she’s done me wrong....
Thank you Christopher. I'm a big fan of Restless and I've always enjoyed Mark's guitar playing. One of these days I'll do either a Restless or Space Cadets lesson. Thanks for the recommendation. :)
Yes!
...I forget to add thanks...I'm Canadian!

Thanks Damian for another great lesson. Is it possible that you could do a lesson on the instrumental “ Holly Hop: by Buddy Holly. Many thanks for your hard work. Regards from Roger in England.

So what’s the preference.. pick guard or no pick guard?
Damian - great stuff once again. thanks for opening up the world of diminished. Quick question - what are those 5 chords at the end of your intro to this one?
Very tasty!
Glad you enjoyed the video. Those 5 chords are E, G13, C13, F7(#9) and E6/9
Nice lesson Damian!!! What are the chords in the turnaround in the intro??? It sounds really nice!!! Thanks :)
Thank you André. I played E, G13, C13, B13, E6/9

You know what "bacci" means on Italian...kisses..well thank you and hugs and kisses
"He who makes no mistakes, makes nothing."
Thanks for watching Dave :)
@@Damianblf That popped into my head as being the quote you were looking for. I got it slightly wrong, it's "One who makes no mistakes makes nothing", by Giacomo Casanova, an Italian adventurer from the 1700s. :)
How about corresponding lessons showing the rhythm parts in detail (basically the chords in the backing tracks).
Some of us want to just be rhythm players!
Thank you for the comment. If you search on RUclips "Damian Bacci Rhythm Lesson" you'll find a bunch of different lessons that you may find helpful. :)
Il faudrait mettre le rythme à la tab
