You need to adjust the bur angulation because preparing the margins before the remaining surface will surely cause severe undercut that wouldn't be removed unless removing more tooth structure So, you need to prep the surface and then extend your margins and refine it as much as you can Take into consideration that this kind of bur angulation cannot be accomplished in real patients mouth .. it actually is not. It actually depends on the teeth. As a dental student, if a tooth has a labial defect and the only option is partial veneer crown. then it must be done.
