Lots of emotion in this video. My condolences on the loss of Matt’s grandmother. I’m sure it’s been very hard being away from family at such a hard time but I’m sure she is so incredibly proud of her grandson. Also, sorry about your dogs passing. Although you have gone through this loss together, grief is such a personal thing to work through. Keep the sunshine on your face and feel the warmth of their love in your hearts.
It was good to hear you two laughing too. You two are both pretty good in the kitchen. The smoked meat looked delicious! 😋
    Have a good week.
    Have a good week ahead!

I, too was a big fan Alone who could not understand why people would quit because of loneliness. You are experiencing that right now and I trust there will be profound things you learn about yourselves and that you treasure what you learn together as a couple because of this experience.. What a gift. may it take you to heights others never know.

It is a wonderful challenge. My husband and I caretake a remote Marina off Vancouver Island for six months. We do not live on land, our whole community and it is a community is all on the water. We love it. Our third year😎

You're both doing great! Living as we do, we learn so much about ourselves, how to make things work both physically and mentally, and our place in the world. I arrived here in Rivers, straight from England with a 3 year old daughter. In the UK, I lived in a rural location on 10 acres with lots of animals. There was no getting used to Canada in any way! Just straight to life on a float, accessible only by sea plane or boat! It was rather a shock to the system, but I was/am very lucky.....I was immediately right at home, where I was meant to be. The love of a good partner is vital too. Know the sun will keep shining, the weather will get warmer and you will be stronger for the whole remote living experience. ❤

Don't let the solitude bother you. In no time at all it will be over.

Turkey - you can also cook the bones for broth, then bake and dry the bones. Then grind them to make bone broth

If you can find some thin rubber-type work gloves to wear when outside, they will block most of the cold on your hands, while still allowing you to manipulate things. Usually the gloves are 6-8 mm. I’d bet they have boxes of them there. Just watched further. The gloves you use for cooking would be perfect!
