1/4cup castor sugar
1/2cup curd / butter milk
1 tspn vanilla essence
1 cup maida
1/2 tspn baking powder
1/8tspn baking soda
1/8cup milk
1 and 1/2 tablespoon cocoa powder
Butter milk recipe :
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoons vinegar

Yes u can use ready made but butter milk made at home gives better results
And in this recipe we do not need corn flour

But I wonder why do we have different recipes for sponges . Some use condensed milk and here you don’t use it.also some times we use butter and some times oil
We have different recipes because in some areas they dont easily get condensed milk and most of the time people feel that its costly to use so thats why we have alternatives… and its totally up to u what recipe u wanna bake
