This is really hitting hard. Great White was one of my favorite bands from my youth. I saw the band live in their prime, and it still stands out as one of the best shows that I have ever seen. Jack was a great live performer. RIP Jack. Thank you for the great music!!
I'm 100% with you. One of my first concerts in the 80's and a band that I follow still to this day. Jack will be missed for sure. I knew his health was deteriorating but that was too fast.
Sounding great guys! Love it now as much as I did when I first brought the album home way back when! There is no other Great White!! ROCK ON FOREVER!!!
Love great white kinda rock n roll blues have many of their albums, it's too sad Jack's not here with us anymore still too young,, thanks jack for the great songs and memories
It’s so sad to see how old he looks in this video. He can hardly move around. He was only 63 here. I recently watched the DVD, “Great White Live & Raw” It’s got 2 full concerts from the late 90’s. He was moving and running around on stage and joking with crowd. That’s how I prefer to remember him. He was such a great frontman at one time! RIP
I' m so sorry for the Loss of Jack Russell . I' ve always loved the music of Great White , from the very first time .and i still love it . I was just a teenager , now i' m 50 old . This i know , This i believe , This is until the End of My Time . Big Love from Italy . ❤❤❤
This guy had one of the best voices in rock ‘n’ roll. The fact that he’s up there on stage live in the dream is a testament to his commitment to the music.
Life is so short. To me, it seems like just a few years ago that Jack was young, cocky, an amazing singer and rock star, and tbh I didn't like him much. Now, I miss him... and everything he represented. 💔💔
Weight loss is disconcerting, however this is no where near as bad as I heard of more recent shows.. Dude's lived hard, if he was 73, instead of 63, people would be crediting him. Sounds better that the embarrassing 80's cruises.. Rock on bro!
Love Great White, First saw them way back in 88 opening for Whitesnake, But whats wrong with him? He looks like his 90 years old, One more thing...I would have a knot in my throat if I would have to sing that song, it would bring back the memories of that horrific night that 100 fans lost their lives, I find it disrespectful, Me personally as the singer of the band would never ever perform that song, and as a fan it would be creepy azhell if im at a show and he starts singing that song. Whats in his head and what his thinking when he performs this songs ill never understand.
I saw Great White on the same tour as you in Duluth, Minnesota. I agree on the performing of Desert Moon. I think it is extremely insensitive and disrespectful of him to perform it, and like you, I cannot understand what's in his head and what he is thinking when he does. I can't hear the opening bars of that song without instantly thinking about the video (I wish I never saw) of the The Station Nightclub tragedy.
If you like Great White check this band and song out you won't be disappointed!! 😉 Reminds me of them some and they were way underrated back in the day 🎼 Tangier - "On The Line" 🎵 🎶 🤘 Your welcome!! 😎
Jack Russell came to my hometown and played a nightclub 11 years ago. And as much of a Great White fan as I was and am, I passed on seeing him then, after watching some of his performance footage on youtube. I preferred to remember the band I saw in 1987. Flash forward to this show...yikes.
I’m on the fence about it, Jack said it wasn’t the song’s fault, which is true, but at the same time I can see the other side. Maybe if they just took off the intro
Y’all know he has dementia right ,he’s pretty sick and just announced he won’t be able to tour anymore. He’s lived a hard life and the haunting event that took place in RI
I LOVED the original Great White, lived right by the Station night club when it burned down. I think Jack had a most incredible voice. Sometimes it is better to call it quits and leave us with the good memories. It is heart breaking to see him like this.
Man, he looks in bad shape here since the last time I seen him. It was about ten years before this. His life was cut too short. RIP. You're in a better place. Enjoy
Jack acting like he’s 75 and moves like he’s 90 but the voice is almost the same, same tone but short winded. 1-10 10 being the top I give him a 7 here. Unlike Vince Neil which is a constant 2 for past 25 years. I’m so glad I got to see all these bands in the 80’s in their prime !
Jack looks like he’s older than 91 yo Willie Nelson. He used to be a rock star. Unfortunately, they now have to drag his carcass onstage and he sounds horrible.
It's beyond time for Jack to retire. I saw him earlier this year and he literally fell over onstage and couldn't get back up. They eventually found a folding chair to prop him up on for the rest of the show. Total embarrassment. It's over, Jack.
@@CarmaineCotham My point remains. But if he wants to continue to embarrass himself onstage, he's free to do so. I know I'll never pay to see him "perform" ever again.
Rest in peace Jack Russell one of the best rock singers ever!

No problem in the vocals department, or having a charming presence, right to the end.

Saw them on the once bitten tour, awesome 😊
Still an absolute banger in 2024!!!!
Awesome!!.....send this video to vince and axel...
Or a Tommy Shaw and Styx video!
Don Dokken too
Why?
Amazing he toured almost to the very end. His voice remained through it all.
You could never take his soul.
Rock in peace brother.

man jack russel got old. if that guy lived next to me there's no way I'd believe he tours with a rock band for a living.
He's 63 and plus he's a cancer survivor that only 6% of people survive plus he's had back and neck surgery

rock stars might be appealing at 20 but not at 63.
Decades of drugs and constant touring can do that

The opioids he uses have eroded his balance and he is now subject to random bouts of falling. Its a known side effect of that category of drugs.
