Sam's demeanor changes clearly. Tim Heidecker had a heavy hand in cancelling Sam's show, Sam's baby. Tim essentially made Sam blacklisted, and although Sam harbors the high road, you can see how it affects him.

It seems to me that Sam Hyde is just an unabashed guy who isn't worried about money, he wants to be a comedian with his brand humour. Gavin to me is a man desperate to make money and to be recognized as a comedian and his desperation makes his humour fall flat often even though he is a naturally funny guy. His treatment of those around him makes him seem like he's an extreme narcissist and petty and is threatened if anyone looks better than him.

They say sarcasm is the lowest form of humor. But shock value is actually the lowest form. If Sam actually had jokes it would be different. But just saying anything for a reaction is lazy.

@@sabretechv2 I think you are grasping with the fact that you have no friends who want to hang out with you and this type of humor explains that you are the smart one and everyone else is stupid. But no it is just weak writing and talent that isn’t enough to get him into a real career.
Sam constructs and delivers his jokes extremely well. Sure the meat of it is saying edgy shit, but the delivery is what separates Sam. He’s like a bull walking a tightrope. 5 years later and I’m still introducing his videos to people and they find it hilarious.
