I'm Mexican. So I have seen many unique food carts in my life. I absolutely love this food truck. The layout of the kitchenette is very well done. This guy is a bad ass! The food looks delicious too. If you get to eat there you are very lucky!

Thai People and their Datsun pickup truck food carts man! I love them, here in Chiang Mai there's a guy running a coffee stand out of one and his cappuccinos are delicious 😋
This guy is a MASTER CHEF .. he should be cooking in a restaurant..organized,the way he cooks his eggs, the WOK HEY, the tossing, control of heat and challenge of cooking by road side..that's skill😁
When Covids hit Thailand, it drove a lot of chefs out from hotel/big restaurant to work on streets or online delivery. And some didn't return to their old work place even today (from some interviews i watch, look like they found their own comfort zone in street food business). Plus, their foods become a lot cheaper since they didn't work at luxury place anymore and need to work with something more affordable for majority of people (depend on where they do their business).
This man is great in my book. Literally cooking food in an actually truck trunk, and the truck is a DATSUN. I have to give my respects wholeheartedly
So satisfying, and the gesture he do (praying) before get in show how much he love this job earnestly
I noticed that too. It was wonderful to see his respect towards his ingredients and his job. I bet his food tastes superb with all that love going into it.

i am from Singapore. I love Thai street food culture. Most taste great, lotsa variety, very cheap.
Yea, I see the food that is cook and the methods are very similar to sg as well. Chinese food is a big part of Thai street food culture, partly due to its Chinese immigrants.
@@grapefruitsyrup8185 I beg to differ, the Big difference is SG is good in marketing, but lacks in the spiritual and love Thai cooks display, the vital ingrediants in Thai cooking. SG ts more about $$$ !!!!
I ain't even a Thai but pad krapow is my favorite food in the world. The minced chicken , the perfect seasoning , the plain rice , the fried egg , it is the most perfect combination of foods ever known .
Then I suggest you try Ka-moo(sweat stewed pork leg) krapow. It’s so next level.
And super easy and quick to make at home once you already have the stuff on hand!
Hats off to this man his cooking skills are highly commendable..and everything is so well organized God bless🙏

I love how everything is organized, all ingredients have their own utensil to prevent any contamination of flavor while also keeping everything in-between clean (like washing the wok after the cook)

โครตน่ากินเลย บ้านเราร้านเยอะ แต่ไม่อร่อยทุกร้าน แปลกไหม เครื่องปรุงก็คล้ายๆกัน ทำทีก็ไม่เยอะ ยังรสชาติต่างกัน ถ้าชอบข้าวผัด หรือผัดวิอิ้ว หาร้านที่ใช้กระทะเหล็ก มันจะหอมกระทะ
Everything looks good except I did not like how he climbed up the truck with his shoes hanging over chopped vegetables.
When I see Grandma or grandpa in the kitchen or Street vendors cooking like this that's what I gave myself the 100% respect of this chef wow

@@BloodyPsychoGurl I think Chito meant that he's seen a lot of food videos from Japan including vendors that operate portable restaurant carts, but this one in Thailand is very unique and different compared to the ones from Japan. And I agree, I've never seen someone set up a food truck from the back of a pickup truck, very cool set up.

The food looks delicious, and the truck setup is an ingenious idea! But I didn’t like when he climbed up on to truck his sneakers were touching food and the rack where he hung the pans in the beginning was very dirty!

XD It is known that street food is nowhere to be clean. Even Japan and Korea and Europe
I think it would’ve been fine if he had covered the tray while he was climbing over so his sneaker wouldn’t have gone over the food prep

Can't help but be a little envious of the eggs they have in many parts of Asia. You can eat them part cooked or just crack them on raw and let the heat of the food cook them. You try that with eggs in America and you'll likely get a food borne illness, unless you pay 5 to 6 times the normal for imported or special harvest. The fact he does this all from his truck like a lunch time special is cool, even if there is some cross contamination here and there in the technique.
