Famous wildlife artist and conservationist David Shepherd also has a passion for steam locomotives. Here is one in South Africa that is particularly special to him.
Wonderful film. David Shepherd is a tremendous guy with his love for animals and steam locomotives.A great narrative by Wilfred Mole, who kept it very informative and interesting. I have been to South Africa with my work a few times, but only on ships. I did manage a cab ride on an S2 0-8-0 in Cape Town docks in 1979 though.Fantastic! Sandstone estates is on my "To Do" list too. Great work. Fantastic loco. Many thanks for showing us.
