Love the videos man! Here's what I'm building on a budget... I'm building custom Hot Dog/Burger side serve syle cart " a super-sized design on steroids, LOL ". I have started with a $75 old stripped out stainless concession table on casters, it had a big hole cut in the top, I filled the hole with a $75 used slide top refrigerator unit, underneath the rest of the table on the customer side plains to stuffed it with two 10 gallon freshwater tanks stacked. Beside them two 20 lb propane cylinders. On the server side, two full pan size deep steam table. I installed a used $50 water pump and RV water heater out of an old RV and believe it or not have room for all my extra storage needs, then I extended the front with a angle iron frame for a sink base, holding a recycled from the scrap yard small 3 Bay sink, the sink being so inexpensive I wasn't afraid to try to cut down, originally about an 8-foot sink with drainboards I cut it down to just about 38 inch or so just for the 3 sinks, then reshape it and re-welded to make it a perfect fit for my needs, it turned out awesome, it would have costed over $400 new and was like only $30-$40 bucks at the scrap yard. Then off to side of my extended sink base kick out a 1/3 pan size for a hand wash sink, and Underneath It all a 25 gallon grey water tank. Up on top two 8' red umbrellas, a red and stainless doored garage type wall storage cabinet for a bun box, and being an old concession table it has a very nice money drawer already built in, Im planing to make a swing out Grill to hang off the back, and then swing back over the steam tables in transit. Got a plain for an extension table that fold over and cover the refrigerator in front in transit, and fold-out over the tongue in use and cover the three Bay sink when not in use, but still allow easy access for the sink. I knocked off the casters in mounted it all up on a custom trailer that I found all the parts for used and pretty much already put together for my needs for only $100. I can't afford expensive stainless for the side material so going with red coated galvanized sheet metal I'm getting from a company that makes metal roofing for like only $50 then I'm shaping the material into all my own panels and doors then adding an extra Automotive clear coat for protection. That's all the plans for it anyway. I'm about $700 in and I got about another $700 to put into it to finish these plans by my calculation. I've spent very very little, by trying to find everything I can used and repurposing it, like all my angle iron is old bed frames and stainless steel from the scrap yard, its no little cheap wooden framed homemade hot dog cart actually a very heavy stainless steel framed 40" × 72" stainless table with stainless top shelf and underneath shelf with plenty of 1in square stainless tubing framing built like a tank, on a nice custom heavy trailer frame. I'm building on a budget, but built to last, building it better than anything you will find pre manufactured, designed to work and operate efficiently, and adequately designed, I believe to operate anywhere in the country and meet the health inspection requirements just about anywhere. Building the whole thing in my driveway with a 4" angle grinder common tools, and with a little help from friends who have welders and Sheet Metal brakes. The only thing I didn't count on is how long it's taking me to get it going, been working on it for about a year now... I guess all good things come in time. It's not just time it's thought as well I have put a lot of thought into the design of this cart, with a lot of originality. I have experience working for a man on his cart for the past few years learn I loved it, I trying to do my own thing so I know what it takes with my experience. It's a lot of fun but I always tell everyone it's not for everybody as it's also a lot of work, and takes a lot of that hard work to be successful at it.
Yes, the stainless does cost a lot and you did find some great deals. The galvanized is the next best option for it being exposed to the outside. I have got to see a pic of it or a video. I do like to see other peoples ideas and builds. You are correct, it does take time and when we plan on something be done, does not always turn out to be on time. That 4 inch hand grinder sure does take a lot of punishment!!! Nice work. There's no point in using 1/2" plywood over this, as you mentioned. You could get a nice 1/8" sheet and use it. As long as any further support screws you use to attached things to the wall all go through solid wood behind the plywood. Much less weight than 1/2".

Not at all, you can install the house window, but do not install it in sideways if it was not meant to be put in that way. Too many people install vinyl house windows in sideways and they leak and the plastic seams break later. Just follow the instructions I give but with a standard house window. THE SEAMSTER

@@andrewmasty5037 I understand lol, I'll do it exactly like you did. Thanks
@@andrewmasty5037 well I can't order this window in my area. I live in FL and the window doesn't meet code for FL😢😢 I'm just going to get a RV window. I really wanted this window
@@THEGREEDYCOUPLE I could see that happening. Because of hurricanes. That still is odd, that you cant order something because of where a person lives, I mean, its not illegal and most trailers in trailer parks most def have storm windows outside of the actual window. But, ok I understand.
@@TheSeamster I'm so sorry to keep bothering you, but I found this window on Amazon Park Ridge Products AMHMF3054PR Park Ridge Mill Finish 30 in. x 54 in. What’s up brother? How’s the truck coming along? You taking a break?
All is good my friend and Holidays are upon me. I have videos, just have to finish them. Stay tuned :)
hy im building my truck im fallowing your ideas but I'm having problem finding the window in my home depot or lowes can you help me providing the window model number or you just flip them around thanks being really helpful
times are very tough to find anything you need at home depot. Yes, turning on their side and very lightweight windows.
I'm am planning on building a food trailer from a 29 ft camper. Not many campers turned into food trailers it appears. Looking for ideas. Floor plan ideas exterior paint and lighting schemes. Buut of course im doing this on poor man's budget. I'm in kansas not hard to get licensed here.
How did it go?
@@TheSeamster i hit a financial had spot. But i am still working on it. I bought a 1975 sports coach rv to do my build. I am working on counter tops now. I bought a serving window still need to install. But its coming along slowly. Should be in business this spring
@@randygilbert4577 it’s hard to motivate when we stop. Get out there hour a day and get ur done.
@@TheSeamster motivation is not the issue. Finances. I have put new tires 6. New silicone roof. New air bags. New counters built by me.Two refrigerators one new. Instant water heater 4' 3 comp sink wall hung hand sink. Serving window. 9 hole steam table 13000 watt dual fuel generator 2 100 lb propane tanks. still need my hood. Not cheap. But its coming. Next one will go a little quicker. Im doing home cooking. Homemade chicken noodles, open face hot beef. Meatloaf homemade chocolate cake. The food i grew up on and cant find anymore. My daughter in law is cooking also. She is a great cook. I like your videos. Keep them coming.
Here's my question. Why do you need a wooden frame behind the storm window? Why can't we screw this storm window onto the aluminum truck itself? Also doesn't the strom windows come with a screen?
More stabilization less flex.
@@TheSeamster 10 4. I'm starting my build now. And going to use your video as a guide here and there. :)
@@FamilyChannelfun32 just be sure to check with your health department or who ever approves first.
@@TheSeamster yessir. i have had one going for 3 years now so i know what they expect. Not to picky here in VT

Hola! Can please advise me? do you know what is the measure that i need for a coffee trailer window service?
Gracias.
Hello Katy, the size window is up to you. But, the bigger the better as long as you provide the correct wall support with your window frame. I would use the same size window I use 34x54 or close to it. Thanks for the comment my friend and ask more questions please if you need to :)
@@andrewmasty5037 Thank you very much i m working on my coffee trailer in Greenville SC and i only count with my self to make my dream hopefully for January will be done .. thank you very much for this information very helpful
Ok, remember take your time and don't be afraid to ask others you know to help you. Also, I know this is the opposite of coffee, but think about purchasing a dual slushies machine. These make so much easy money when it's hot or cold out. I know I did it and my son will also.
Thank you... Yes in future i will be open for more options.. 😊
@@andrewmasty5037 also in my state is so hart with the building code so i will started with my cafe and future i want to go BIG
