Every update destroys the game, after years, players only regret new updates, because the game just goes to the bottom. Kv-1,2,4,is-7, t-100lt,t-57 ht,60tp,mino,tvp50/51,emil-1,2,kranvagn,53 tp,tiger-2,vk 100,panther 2,vickers 9 and 10,caernarvon,t-49,t-29,fv4005,sheridan,type-71,ho-ri,stb,wz-121 b,wz-113 currently best performing in tier x and the list goes on and on with the recently buffed e4 line you just don't see the good tanks in the tech tree
@@zero_meercat8624 i would really say more tier 7 though. I agree, tier 8 has strong premiums like the chimera but I think tier 8 tech trees are as good as the premiums. Tier 7 on the other hand is a joke.
thats the thing with most of these "OP" premium tanks, their scary at first, but once you figure out how to deal with them, they're really not any different to any other tech tree tank out there, I mean yea they are scary at first but what tank isn't? I was shitting bricks when I first came across a tiger 2 in my AT 15 when I was much newer to the game not knowing how tf to pen it, same thing with a smasher, Annihilator, or Gravedigger, yes they are huge assets to any team and are very good tanks that should be targeted if the chance arises, but their not "OP" and as game breaking as many people make it out to be lol... They are great tanks don't get me wrong, but no where near as op as many would think, if one knows how to use their tank right and is familiar with how many of these "OP" prems are, then they aren't really that op... just above average tanks which there are many tech tree tanks that can match em in tier 7, tanks like the Black prince, IS, Yoh, are good examples of tanks in the same class as these premiums that can stand toe to toe against em and other heavies like the chinese and japanese heavies that can hold their own too... except the french tier 7 heavy... amx m4 45... man does that thing get bodied, heck tho other classes of tanks too can hold their own against this line, most meds, lights and especially td's can match and even surpass them in combat effectiveness so yea Idk wtf some peeps are on about "oh the premiums are so much stronger than the tech tree tanks hurrr durr" when there are many tech tree tanks that can body premiums take annihalator, gravedigger or smasher vs a decent tech tree heavy... like a tiger 1, its a very even match 1v1 against em if both tanks have equally skilled players who can use their brains... thats kinda the issue... its skill issue by most of the player base cause these tanks arent any different to other tanks on the battlefield when one is familiar with them and knows how to use their own tank well... like heck if I'm in a light tank and I see a smasher on the enemy team I'm not gonna think "oh god that things op... its a death for me here bois rip" no, like yea I'll be weary of the thing, like "aight if I get hit with that I'm gon get polvurized" but I'll think that with any other high alpha tank... like those from the tech trees... like the su's for example, like yea the smasher has a turret but thats the only advantage... the advantage the su's have, better overall mobility, arguably more troll armor, and smaller size so yea idk what peeps on about there

I think I started in 2017 but I played just for a bit. I remember how I really wanted the tier 2 french tank because it was one of the strongest, I thought.
I started a few weeks after the game was launched. I miss the old maps more than anything. they were different, they had querks and some of them were not balanced for both spawns. But that is what made them fun. Climbing Mount Everest on Copperfield, The Bowl on Oasis Palms, The Sniping ledge on Desert Sands, The sneaky shortcuts up the hill on Mines, and the cutting up the hill on Middleberg. It took me 10k matches to reach my first T10 and I see so many now with multiple T10s and far less matches. It is a shame they dumbed down and simplified the game. I dont play much anymore but Im glad I played during its golden period 🙂
Wow, we have the exact same experience! Playing on hilly maps which were very unbalanced, just like the MM. But that was what made it fun and challening. Also loved that you could climb up some hills for sneaky spots. No crazy looking premium tanks, just WW2 based. I also loved the intro musics from the old maps. Great times Edit: it took me around 7K battles for my first tier X: T110E3
T49 ATGM was such a masterpiece... but i never had a chance to drive it. Since they made a ton of tech tree tanks collectables the game felt different.
WoTB old : The graphics are similar to the World War 2 Theme, the textures are similar to the original, the gunshots sound the same as the gunshots in the real world. WoTB Now : It's like a child's game :/
Honestly, I love old blitz as much as I love new blitz personally. The graphics have just improved over the years, but I do miss the old maps and the old tank interactions due to some tanks not existing yet and old tech trees. Yes, I dislike op tanks and crates, but honestly there really isn't much some skill can overcome. I do wish they'd add back those 2 removed maps though and I sincerely wish I could see the old versions of some of those maps again, mostly the old oasis palms when it was drastically different and old mines when the hill was actually valuable
Man I remember the days when we actually had tier II and III tank Destroyers with OP Guns or fun gun Options I remember you could use the 105mm of the M4 Sherman on the M46 Patton for fun

I wish we could honestly go back to those days i remember when i first played in 2014 after a month of the game being i really enjoyed it and kept playing it on my ipad and now i look at blitz today as just a disappointment when back then it was actually fun. only if we could be able to play old blitz again :(

that duck event was so fire, I started play early 2014 when it dropped, this was the most fun game I had ever played with, me and my father would race to get a tier 10, and now in 2023 he stopped playing bout like 4 years ago, so I took over his account because he got a tier 10 before me, so yeah it was fun because of how we grew up playing it, we played for 6 years straight, of just having fun.
This game sure isn't what it used to be. I've also played it since 2015 and it just looks so different after each update like a human ageing from time to time this is why you must appreciate and be grateful of what you have before its gone.

I remember creating my WG account on a computer in middle school because I saw the game installed on it. I was hooked already after finishing the tutorial. When I got home, I downloaded it onto my potato MacBook Air from back then. Been playing from about 2.2 :( so much has changed. Some bad, some good

Рандом поменялся, люди начали понимать игру и скилл начали кое как повышать, это сильно сказалось на рандом. Да и сильных игроков в последнее время становится многовато.

In 2014, we still had the starting tutorial tank as the M4A2E8. At that time, the first tutorial bot you encounter would change tanks if you kept repeating the tutorial. First tank I saw was the Pz.4 Hydrostat. Mines 1.0 map had the cap circle on the ridge by the mines. Literally dead center of the map. Best of all, HE rounds were able to do full damage regardless of were you aimed on said tank. Of course, you had to be using a howitzer/derp cannon for that to show.
Damn this hits hard,but im glad to see that even though game changed its nature drastically its still very much alive,unlike big WoT or for example War Thunder,which went to complete bottom.
I play wotb in 2018, in 2020 just see a lot of event that I can't grind fast ( super slow) I do respect the old wotb which give me back the old memories
Newbies nowadays only needs 2-3 weeks to grind to tier X but back in the day, even tier V tanks were a hard thing to achieve. due to the rewards of daily missions, bp, clan missions, grinding tanks has never been easier! imagine having a skill issue players using tier X tanks in your team
Those were the good old days when you had +2-2 and old tutorial and duck mode and lovely t49 a. My first premium was the pz. 5/4 that was awesome I would always play in the deep hetzer. #losttemple #mirage

This game used to be a fun tank game, branched off from the PC version, with minimum toxicity and funny map bugs and glitches, now they fixed most of them and moved onto gambling and toxicity is at extreme levels to the point where racial slurring went from casual to beyond competitive.
I play since 2015 and i remebmber the old good sounds the old tanks that now are gone , i just wanna go back just for one day to bring back the prime of wot bliz....
I'm 9-year player in WoT B. I remember everything in this video:) I was very excited when I got my KV-1 and KV-2 for the first time.. I have tier 10s now, but I don't feel the same excitement when I buy them as when I first played the game:)

I somehow got Tier 10 in 600 battles which was unusual for me cuz I remember playing around 2016-2017 and it was hard to get xp
I got my first TX in 2.5k battles, but now it is no problem getting one in less than 700
Thank you for this. As an old-timer (playing for nearly 8 years now), this game is a huge part of my childhood. It really shows how far I've come.

In 2014, we still had the starting tutorial tank as the M4A2E8. At that time, the first tutorial bot you encounter would change tanks if you kept repeating the tutorial. First tank I saw was the Pz.4 Hydrostat.
Mines 1.0 map had the cap circle on the ridge by the mines. Literally dead center of the map.
Best of all, HE rounds were able to do full damage regardless of were you aimed on said tank. Of course, you had to be using a howitzer/derp cannon for that to show.

Even though I like the current version of the game, the old blitz will never and can never be topped
Damn this hits hard,but im glad to see that even though game changed its nature drastically its still very much alive,unlike big WoT or for example War Thunder,which went to complete bottom.
I play wotb in 2018, in 2020 just see a lot of event that I can't grind fast ( super slow) I do respect the old wotb which give me back the old memories

The fact hits me all old tanks that got out of tech three they haunt me
Newbies nowadays only needs 2-3 weeks to grind to tier X but back in the day, even tier V tanks were a hard thing to achieve. due to the rewards of daily missions, bp, clan missions, grinding tanks has never been easier! imagine having a skill issue players using tier X tanks in your team

Eu estava la em 2014 e conheci o WoT Blitz porque era um dos poucos jogos que funcionavam no meu antigo Galaxy e no Tablet da família.
Foram natais muito divertidos, com certeza. Sinto saudades e este video me fez sentir uma dor no coração.
No entanto, com as boas memórias no meu coração sou grato por tê-las vivido e prefiro carregá-las com um sorriso de gratidão para o futuro.

This game used to be a fun tank game, branched off from the PC version, with minimum toxicity and funny map bugs and glitches, now they fixed most of them and moved onto gambling and toxicity is at extreme levels to the point where racial slurring went from casual to beyond competitive.

I'm 9-year player in WoT B. I remember everything in this video:) I was very excited when I got my KV-1 and KV-2 for the first time.. I have tier 10s now, but I don't feel the same excitement when I buy them as when I first played the game:)
