    Glad you tried Misal Pav again the right way, so touched..You and aunty felt so sorry for eating it wrong way, however it doesn't matter yaar..Yes, misal is jhanjanit means super spicy and that's why Chef Sanjyot suggested you to pair it with a glass of Taakh(buttermilk) to neutralize the effect 😅

  • @palakagarwal502
    @palakagarwal502 5 месяцев назад +41

    Yes, misal pav is always spicy but you can always increase the amount of farsan and decrease the tarri. In Pune, people also add some curd to the curry to decrease the spice levels. :)

    Genuine efforts well appreciated... Waise to there is a long list of maharashtrian dishes that r to try... Not all r that spicy... Any outside food is usually on a spicier side... One episode for desserts is a must.
    And this now calls for a series of dishes from different states... that wud b v interesting!

    Glad to see you trying Maharashtrian dishes. Your lunch menu was Pithla. Sinks is a dry version of Pithla. Zunka or Pithla to be eaten with bhakri (juwar or bajara roti), thecha, raw onion, began bharta and butter milk.

    You missed Puran Poli, Daniya vadi. Very good to see you choose Maharashtrian food. Misal pav is basically Spicy and tasty but should eat this with curd then you will enjoy this fully. And eat this at pune or Nashik these are famous places for misal.😊

    So sweet Shivesh for taking all the comments in a positive way and correcting the things in this video 😊 very few youtubers are like that. This challenge reminded me of my Nagpur days. Such an awesome challenge. And yes misal pav is supposed to be quite very spicy compare to vada pav or dabeli and since it has red chillies and powder too, it's more spicy than green chilli thecha. Keep it u, you are awesome and I enjoy my boring pg food because of your videos ❤😂

  • @aneriwaikar7198
    @aneriwaikar7198 4 месяца назад

    So good to see you try Maharashtrian food! Lots of love Shivesh! Everything was on point except for Misal Pav, misal isn’t that spicy considering you have pretty good spice tolerance.. misal gravy is simple gravy made up of lentils like matki or peas.. and the farsan can be skipped and shev-chiwda can be used. ❤

    You should have also tried a dessert at last ukdicha modak or kharwas yaar shivesh. And in misal pav you can adjust things for spice add extra lemon to cut off the spice and farsan quantity with less tarri (oil of the liquid sabji) that oil makes it more spicy, and normally misal pav is not that spicy ki uska taste hi na aaye. Do try misalpav when you come to mumbai or pune next time. Aamchi mumbai ❤ JAI MAHARASHTRA ✨🔥

Masala bhat is the most soulful dish for maharashtrians which we eat at breakfast mostly from leftover rice and with hot tea 😇 ❤Also do try some famous maharashtrian authentic sweet dishes like PuranPoli, Kharwas (Milk dessert) , Modak, Naralwadi (coconut burfi), shrikhand with Puri 😋❤Love from Maharashtra ❤
