Does the train just go down and back? The steam engine is glorious but tossing in a modern diesel locomotive and modern rail cars kinda kills the old time vibe of the locomotive. That is a impressive piece of rail history. I personally think then modern rail cars and engine ruin it for me. I get the modern diesel locomotive might need to help push but definitely doesn't fit.
We asked one of the workers about that, and he basically told us that the diesel is there for backup power and as a generator just in case, but #1225 does the work and is stronger than 3 diesels combined
