Part of the problem with the Garage scene (and it seems it has always been this way so long as I can remember).... The tracks simply aren't available to buy - it is a REAL struggle to get your tracks.... The scene needs an outlet for MP3 and vinyl tracks - rather than struggling to track down odd records here n there... its a nightmare. The artists would get paid for their work a lot more if the music was readily available for enthusiasts to buy easily :/
So many UKG songs are unauthorised bootleg remixes pressed on to 100 or 200 vinyl pressings. They can't be sold officially as the remixers would have to be credited and possibly paid some royalties. Plus not all the remixes meet the standards that major labels would put their names to, in terms of uncleared samples, poor sound mixing and engineering. Finally, many of the tiny labels that put out these songs don't exist anymore and the master tapes may be lost or damaged.
