Love the way he smiles when he sings, the enjoyment of hearing him is only surpassed by seeing how much he loves sharing his beautiful voice with others. Bobby lives on for so many people who still appreciate what an exceptional talent he was, as well as those who have only come to know him more recently as I have.
Yes janschwartz, he was very blessed with that voice. I cannot think of anyone in this era of music, or even when he was singing in the 60's that could ever reach those octaves. He was a counter tenor. We are still listening to his 🎶 after all this time. Bobby is dearly missed.
Isberliner, he was, what a blessed voice. Yes, on the song unchained melody, he made that song his own. Any songs that he sang solo, effortlessly, no autotune, natural voice. He sang with ❤ and soul. He is dearly missed, time flies, 20 years have passed. He is still being remembered, he was one of a kind, a class act.
Thank our LORD that Bobby gave us this Version of this most Beautiful song. So sad that the kids of this generation haven't experience his Brilliant Talent. RIP Dear Bobby. YOUR Music LIVES ON.
He was a wonderful singer and a wonderful person I had the privilege of meeting him Bill Medley but Bobby Hatfield was the best all the way around he was the best I knew him for awhile. Greatest singer ever with no professional training. I loved his voice and him

I can understand why females are screaming for Bobby Hatfield cause he sings so romantic and he ends with a remarkable pitch! The Righteous brothers a great pair for entertainment!! 🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Bobby majored in music in college. He has had plenty of training. You don't achieve his level of virtuosity without some training. His breath control, dynamics, phrasing... all comes from talent, training and hard work.
Bobby was exceptional in every way. His song "Unchained Melody" was mine and my husband's song. My hubby is now with Bobby and singing together in heaven. No one has gotten #1 on this song, but Roy Orbison and Elvis come in 2nd. God Bless them all and may they RIP. ❤❤❤❤❤.
He absolutely had vocal training. He exhibits virtuosic vocal skill and technique, such as vowel modification, and decrescendo skill (going from loud to soft) which is very challenging.

Dear Lord, I keep going back to his wonderful vocals! No one sounds like this amazing man today, such a treasure! I hope one day in Heaven I can hear the awesome vocals of Bobbie Hatfield.

Robert Lee "Bobby" Hatfield (August 10, 1940 - November 5, 2003) was an American singer, best known as one half of the Righteous Brothers; Born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Hatfield moved with his family to Anaheim, California, when he was four. A 1958 graduate of Anaheim High School, he sang in the school choir and played baseball. He briefly considered signing as a professional ballplayer, but his passion for music led him to pursue a singing career while still attending high school. He eventually encountered his singing partner, Bill Medley, while attending California State University, Long Beach. Hatfield is an alumnus of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Career This section requires expansion. (August 2007) Hatfield and Medley began singing as a duo in 1962 in the Los Angeles area as part of a five-member group called the Paramours. They were often told they sounded like African-American gospel singers and named their singing act "The Righteous Brothers" after a fan remarked of their singing, "that's righteous, brothers." Their first charted single as the Righteous Brothers was "Little Latin Lupe Lu" and their first #1 was "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," produced by Phil Spector in 1964. Follow-up hits included the #1 "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration" and "Unchained Melody", the latter of which was actually a Hatfield solo performance that he recorded again after the success of the film Ghost, remarking to friends that he had not lost any of the high notes in his tenor range since the original recording, but had actually gained one note. The duo broke up in 1968, but returned with another hit in 1974, the #3 "Rock and Roll Heaven." The duo were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March 2003 by Billy Joel..............Eddie
