I had the same problem with my win7. So I went to the boot screen by pessing delete button it may be f12 in your case. There will be options like window7 and press tab for advance option. Press f8. Then there will be options like safe mode, safe mode with low resolution, go for previous better config. Option and win7 will accept your pin, disable your antivirus and restore your system, as it may be due to the windows updates. Or change of settings due to tune up applications. Please give your feedback.
My problem is that this is a school issued laptop that I use for work, and I locked myself out by mistake. I ended up having to explain to my teacher I couldn't work for the entire class and I needed to finish it at home. He was lenient, but I may have been this lucky with anyone else. It was a feature that screwed me over hard.
After enter your password you’re getting same error, just restart your system in safe mode and try with your password it’s showing same error message don’t worry just restart your system in normal mode then type your password , you will get successfully login
@Balasubrahmanyam Madireddy I just went to bed frustrated, woke up and booted up the pc. It was fine then. I enable a 4 digit pin to login now. No problems since

Wait for 30 minutes you will able to log in again
I even wait almost 24 hours but nothing.refusing my password even fingersprint
