Great video, thanks!
I can't do and really don't understand geometry, but with the way you broke it down and explained it, I actually understand this. Thank you. Very good video.
Thank you so much!
Thanks!
What an elegant dance between shapes and dimensions - subtle and mesmerizing. Thanks
This is awesome! I am making a violin at the moment, and its as crude and "good enough" as it gets. I wish i had this video when i started, but hey, ill reference this lesson in my next mould! No way am i using my piece of junk mould again haha! I figure itll be a half dozen fails before I get a good violin out of the adventure
what an amazing lecture
Great video! Greetings from Brazil! 🇧🇷
Thank you for this instructive video. The ruler you use at the end (30:33) has unusual graduations ; could you tell us what they are for ? Many thanks again.
Yes. It's graduated in the old Cremona Oncia system. Some of the earlier videos explain that, particularly the video on instrument sizes.
@@cremonarevival2204 Thank you for your answer. I've now seen the video you've mentioned. Great!!!
Great video! But how do you join the top and bottom bouts together? How do you decide how close they go?
The corner and riser work connects the bouts together. This material will be covered in further videos as the series goes along. The answer is not entirely simple, and not rigid.
