While watching this video, I'm right back in 1993. Those were the first times I was watching MTV Europe as a kid. Great memories, imho the original version is the one and only. Hard to believe that these guys (not the singer Linda Rocco of course, who came from the US) were from Germany where I live. I think this track sounds more like something from the UK, the Netherlands or Italy from that '92 and '93 era. But both producers, Jam El Mar and DJ Dag, were part of the Frankfurt scene. The Frankfurt dance and techno scene has been notorious for being very excessive and unique in the first half of the 90s, quite different from cities such as Berlin or Cologne.
It's 1992. You got to know the date of the song you're posting. It was one of the early Proto-Trance songs in the early 90's. One of the best imo., as well.
I like both versions. The 1998 version seems to have more punch and booty and sounds less dated, but the 1992 / 1993 version seems to have more drive and has much more going on musically.
